I have chosen to write about this entrepreneur because I have read a lot of his books were he is writing about business, how to start, how to motive yourself and etc.
Robert was born in Hawaii 1947 04 08 where he was living with his parents. He graduated Hilo High School in 1965 and after that he studied at Marine academy in New York and graduated in 1969 as a deck officer. In 1977 Robert started his first business in retailing industry. He was selling so called surfer wallets. Company was working well for a period of time but at the end it went bankrupt. In 1980s, he started another business which had a license to make T-shirts for bands which were playing hard rock music but this company also went bankrupt after 5 years later. After two companies’ bankrupts, Robert become a homeless man and he was living with his friend at Toyota back for few months since he and his friend Kim started their own business.
Now Robert and his wife Kim are writing books about business, its management and etc. This is a part of his hobby and also a business because he likes to teach other people how to achieve their goals. I have read almost every his book, his writing style is very easy to read and also very convincing. In one of his books Robert wrote about when he was 12 year old boy and his father was teaching him how to save money and how to make that money would make more money, so he started collecting coins in 1960s as starting investment. One of the main Robert businesses is real estate. He is investing money in real estate and using market and economics fluctuations makes profits. He started investing in real estate in 1973 and still does it today. He is buying and selling houses, hotels and other real estate, also some of the real estate he is preparing for rent, because one of the main his ideas is that every person should try to ensure a stable future revenues for themselves. Another Robert’s passion is stock markets, where he is well known for his investments. Also Robert is not only writing books but also taking seminars and teaching people about business, this is also a very profitable business because people believe that they could also do what Robert did and make a lot of money. With his books he also created a game, where every player is starting in so called rat route- Robert believed that people who are working regular jobs they are trapped like rats and they need to get to highway which in reality is own business. This game is also in Lithuania and costs more than 200Lt.
R. Kiyosaki in one of his books wrote that one of the biggest challenges for him was to find out how to create a business without money, he had not even were to live. His friend Kim, now she is his second wife, suggested him start a business together and they did. They started writing books about business.
R. Kiyosaki is a very vise person, he knows his goals and from his books I can see that from his childhood his father was teaching him about money, business and giving him beneficial advices. From early years he wanted to be businessman so in every possible way he was trying to achieve his goals and he did.
The main characteristics of this man life story can be matched with our entrepreneurship subject. I think that Robert is a passionate entrepreneur, who loves his activities and loves to overcome all obstacles in his way. Also he is very smart, because he saw unfiled human needs and tried to fill up the gaps by writing teaching books and conduct seminars.

Rich Dad Poor Dad Chapter Summary

...Noah Zerance Dr. Leinberger Chapter 4 Summary Chapter 4 of Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki, continues to reinforce the idea that the rich and the poor think differently. In chapter four, titled “The History of Taxes and the Power of Corporations,” Mr. Kiyosaki discusses the power of the corporation, and how the rich have learned to use the corporation to hide their money. Through a variety of charts he shows how the cash flows through business versus how cash flows through the poor and middle class. Corporations spend their money and then pay taxes on what is left, where the poor pay taxes and they what is left they spend on other things. Robert continues to drill the idea of developing your financial IQ in order to break the rat race and escape the machine that sucks you into the work force. He says being ignorant gets you bullied, and if you were to learn you may stand a chance. Robert actually wrote an entire book on raising your financial IQ, although I think you would be better off going through a professional educator, he makes several good points in the book. One point that I like from this chapter, and actually is driven home by this current election campaign, is the idea that the more you tax the rich, the less willing they will be to create jobs. For the 2012 election, you have one candidate that wants to bring down taxes on the rich so they create more jobs, and in turn, return more money to the government in taxes. The other candidate wants to increase...

Rich Dad Poor Dad Summary

...Dad is the story of author Robert Kiyosaki's upbringing and his two fathers, one rich father (not biological) and one poor father (biological). He was forced to choose between following in the footsteps of his poor father – a highly educated government worker – or his rich father – an entrepreneur who never graduated high school. In the end he decided to learn from his rich dad.The book focuses mostly on the education and financial advice Kiyosaki learned from his rich dad. His rich father was able to create a multi-million dollar empire from virtually nothing, using his financial knowledge and the power of his imagination. The book gives basic lessons which combine the teachings of Kiyosaki's rich dad with experiences from his own life. One of which is the importance of improving your financial IQ and financial literacy,(skills the author believes is absent from the current education system). The book also shows how the rich don't work for money, they make money work for them. They acquire assets rather than liabilities. The author emphasises the importance of being able to differentiate between an asset and a liability. He states that in order to be truly wealthy, your asset must be large enough to offset your living expenses. He explained about the misconception of a high income meaning wealth, but in reality a strong asset column is what is needed. Higher incomes often lead to higher expenses, higher taxes, and more debt. The author (Kiyosaki) eliminates the myth that...

Robert Browning

...Robert Browning Robert Browning was born on May 7, 1812, in Camberwell, England. His mother was an accomplished pianist and a devout evangelical Christian. His father, who worked as a bank clerk, was also an artist, scholar, antiquarian, and collector of books and pictures. His rare book collection of more than 6,000 volumes included works in Greek, Hebrew, Latin, French, Italian, and Spanish. Much of Browning's education came from his well-read father. It is believed that he was already proficient at reading and writing by the age of five. A bright and anxious student, Browning learned Latin, Greek, and French by the time he was fourteen. From fourteen to sixteen he was educated at home, attended to by various tutors in music, drawing, dancing, and horsemanship. At the age of twelve he wrote a volume of Byronic verse entitled Incondita, which his parents attempted, unsuccessfully, to have published. In 1825, a cousin gave Browning a collection of Shelley's poetry; Browning was so taken with the book that he asked for the rest of Shelley's works for his thirteenth birthday, and declared himself a vegetarian and an atheist in emulation of the poet. Despite this early passion, he apparently wrote no poems between the ages of thirteen and twenty. In 1828, Browning enrolled at the University of London, but he soon left, anxious to read and learn at his own pace. The random nature of his education later surfaced in his writing, leading to criticism of his poems' obscurities. In 1833...

Project Failures from the Top Down Can Marchionne Save Chrysler Suggestions and Rise Up Challenges

...------------------------------------------------- Project Failures From the Top Down: Can Marchionne Save Chrysler When Chrysler merged with Fiat on June 10, 2009, there was cause for hope and optimism. After an endless string of bad news, perhaps, the auto industry was not dead yet. On paper it looked like a good deal for everyone. Fiat would return to the US market and sell its popular 500 (Cinquecentro), Chrysler would acquire a line of cars that consumers might actually buy, and tens of thousands of workers would keep their jobs. But the real prize might just be Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat and now CEO of FiatChrysler. When he first became CEO of Fiat in 2004, Marchionne inherited a company on the brink of failure. It manufactured a lackluster product line and had suffered more than $12 billion in losses over the previous five years. To transform the company he embarked on several strategic and operational projects. He fired senior managers, upended a bloated bureaucracy, and brought a team of young aggressive managers on board. Then, he reviewed all projects and killed those that could not pass the market test. And he hired new designers, and demanded a portfolio of exciting projects that would bring customers back to dealer showrooms. In less than three years he succeeded in one of the most impressive turnarounds in automotive history. Now, as part of his plan to grow Fiat into a global competitor he has taken on Chrysler. But, can he perform his magic again? Can he save...
