All people whether individuals or groups believe in something. For example, the Separatists believed firmly in God and religion was a big portion of their beliefs as far as we know. This is why they left their own country seeking religious freedom away from religious persecution in the New World or as we know it America. But, of course getting here to America was not easy for the Separatists. In “Of Plymouth Plantation”, you can infer that the separatists had no survival skills, and praised God for many things.
