ABSTRACT

Our NGO project which was from 16th December 2013 to 23rd December 2013 was based on Each One Teach One. We had to analyse the teaching methods of EOTO teachers and in various municipal and government aided schools. We understood the organisational structure of EOTO and the working pattern of the organisation. WE also had a look at their financial statements and spoke to their COO about the various problems faced by her In operating EOTO. We visited two schools which were located in Dadar and Sion and observed the teaching pattern of the teachers and also learning style of the children. We also went through the documents which were required for the ISO certification to make sure everything was in place. For our session we as a team had been given the following tasks: * Teaching English grammar to Std 8th students and poems and movies to Std 4th students * Monitoring computer lab and teaching Std 1st and 2nd students about the use of computers * Maintaining student database and drafting letters and notes to the donors * Outdoor game. * Supervising the activities and submitting the observations about the quality standards in schools

Each One Teach One (EOTO) was found Mrs Jyoti Tanna with her burning desire and the support from family and friends. EOTO was initiated in 1983with five children and is continuing strong till date. EOTO has touched the lives of over 10,000 children and still continue to do so, enriching many lives. The EOTO dedicated team, supported through the acumen and experience of the managing committee are making the difference.
