All commerce are in business to provide a product and or service. There are many roles that a business must partake in order to be successful and grow. Business must have a strategic plan in order for a company to run smooth and achieve their mission and goals. Target is a great example of a business conducting a great strategic management plan process. According to the Small Business webpage, there is more than just a set of rules the business must follow in order to flourish. A great strategic process must contain five stages “goal setting, analysis, strategy formation, strategy implementation and strategy monitoring” (Clayton, n.d.).
