“Steve Jobs fue mucho más que una personalidad excéntrica; él era un genio de los negocios” En la biografía de Steve Jobs se diria que lo que se escribio en realidad fue un relato de la vida de Jobs. Por petición de Jobs, fue brutalmente honesta, sin blanqueo, ella estaba lleno de anécdotas, pero no contenía el análisis. Los comentaristas han tendido a centrarse en los trabajos "fuerte y en veces de personalidad abrasiva, pero muchos han fallado en reconocer Grandeza de Jobs como un líder de negocio innovador a causa de este énfasis en la personalidad de Jobs, Isaacson decidió escribir un artículo de seguimiento se centra en importantes y ampliamente lecciones de liderazgo aplicables a partir de los trabajos. Pero, estas lecciones de Jobs la vida y la experiencia pueden influir en el pensamiento de un líder. Tim Cook, el actual CEO de Apple, ofrece un ejemplo. Cook ha hecho un trabajo excepcional de aprender estas importantes lecciones de los trabajos (tales como la importancia de la simplicidad y la de grandes productos), mientras que la aplicación de su propia personalidad y estilo de liderazgo a los problemas únicos que se enfrenta. Me gustaria empezar a hablar brevemente de la historia de Steve, un lider en muchas formas y sentidos no solo era un lider sino tambien un buen compañero de equipo, Su saga es el mito de la creación empresarial con mayúsculas: Steve Jobs, cofundador de Apple en el garaje de sus padrest, fue derrocado en 1985, regresó a rescatarla de cerca de la bancarrota en 1997, y para el momento de su muerte, en octubre de 2011, había construido en la compañía más valiosa del mundo. A lo largo de la manera que él ayudó a transformar siete industrias: personal, informática, películas de animación, música, teléfonos, tabletas informáticas, venta minorista, y la edición digital. Apple y Steve Jobs son inseparables. Su identidad estará reflejada en cada producto Apple que se desarrolle, y eso se debe a que se involucraba en todos los elementos de la filosofía de diseño de Apple. Era conocido por ser muy controlador, y de hecho se ha relatado que rediseñó la apariencia del camión y de la cafetería de la empresa. Por lo tanto pertenece en el panteón de los grandes innovadores de Estados Unidos, junto con Thomas Edison, Henry Ford y Walt Disney. "Think Different" La esencia de Jobs, es que su personalidad era parte de su forma de hacer negocios. El siempre actuaba como si las reglas no existieran o como si no le aplicaran a el. Aunque cada producto Apple es la suma de muchas habilidades distintas, éstos se adhieren a la visión establecida por Jobs de entender lo que hace a un producto Apple atractivo. Esta fundación específica empodera a los diferentes aspectos del diseño del producto a superarse, mientras que se mantiene consistente la experiencia del usuario.

Analisis, aportaciones y aprendizaje
1-. Enfócate Decidir lo qué NO vas a hacer es tan importante como decidir qué vas a hacer. Jobs ya al final de su vida recibió la visita de Larry Page, co-fundador de Google y que se estaba por volver a hacerse cargo de la dirección de la compañía, para pedirle consejos. ¿Cuáles son los 5 productos en los que quieres concentrar tus esfuerzos? Ubica esos productos y deshacete del resto”, te jalan hacia abajo te convierten en Microsoft”. 2 -. No hagas caso de los focus group La verdadera innovación consiste en darle al consumidor algo que este ni tenía idea que necesitaba. En la misma filosofía Henry Ford decía: “Si hubiera preguntado a los clientes que es lo que querían, me habrían dicho ‘¡Un caballo mas rápido!’” 3-. Simplifica Steve Jobs tenía la habilidad de enfocarse, acompañada del instinto de simplificar hasta llegar a la esencia de las cosas, para eliminar luego todos los componentes innecesarios. El primer folleto de Apple en ocasión del lanzamiento de la Apple II el 5 de mayo de 1978, decía: “la simplicidad es la mayor sofisticación”. 4-. Asume toda la responsabilidad de principio a fin Apple ha tomado la responsabilidad absoluta de la experiencia del consumidor, gracias a Jobs la empresa entendió y aplicó la importancia de que todo el software y hardware de los productos de Apple pertenecieran a la compañía, y así funcionaran en perfecta sintonía familiar. “Las personas tienen otras cosas que hacer que pensar cómo integrar todas sus computadoras y dispositivos”, dijo Jobs. 5-. Si te quedaste atrás, da un salto Haberse quedado atrás en la era de los CDs impulsó a Jobs a tomar la delantera y crear un sistema integrado de música que permitiera a los usuarios comprar, guarder, compartir, gestionar y reproducir su música mejor que cualquier otro dispositivo, sin necesidad de quemar CDs. 6-. Pon a los productos antes que las ganancias Cuando Jobs y su equipo decidieron diseñar la original Macintosh, no pensaron precisamente en el dinero que ganarían, ni el que gastarían en hacerla… Lo importante era crear un producto “increíblemente grandioso”. La gente de venta y los empresarios tienden a enfocarse más en las ganancias que en los productos. Jobs creía que esa era una receta para la mediocridad. 7-. Fuerza la realidad Los colegas de Jobs sabían muy bien que, más allá de las formas, Jobs conseguía que realizaran el mejor de su desempeño, incluso yendo más allá de lo que ellos consideraban posible. Isaacson comenta que una vez Jobs presionó a su amigo Steve Wozniak para crear un juego llamado Breakout. Si bien Wozniak dijo que le llevaría meses, Jobs insistió en que podia hacerlo en cuatro días y así fue.

8 -. Usa el poder de atribuir Uno de los legados que Jobs recibió de su mentor Mike Markkula fue el poder de “atribuir” Jobs sabía que la gente se forma una opinión acerca de un producto o compañía, basada primeramente en lo que ve: presentación, packaging. El excelente diseño era imprescindible para Jobs y para Apple. 9-. Impulsa la perfección Podría decirse que durante el desarrollo de todo producto de Apple, Jobs presionaba una especie de “botón imaginario de pausa” y volvía en el tiempo para revisarlo una y otra vez, hasta que estuviera perfecto. Fue el caso de las tiendas Apple, cuyo lanzamiento fue retrasado hasta que Jobs se aseguró que estuvieran reorganizadas no sólo por categorías sino también por actividades. 10-. Tolera sólo a los número 1 Es bien conocida la fama de Jobs por su impaciencia y manera dura de tratar a quienes lo rodeaban. Tenía una verdadera pasión por la perfección y deseaba trabajar sólo con los mejores. 11-. Mejor cara a cara Tan paradójico como pueda sonar, el líder de una de las marcas por excelencia de la era digital, era un fiel creyente de las reuniones cara a cara. “Hay una tentación en las redes de trabajo de nuestra era, de pensar que las ideas pueden ser desarrolladas por e-mail o por chat”, decía. 12-. Conoce el gran panorama y los detalles Una de las pasiones de Jobs era no sólo prestar atención a lo macro, sino también a lo micro. Uno de los ejemplos que ofrece Isaacson es que en el año 2000 tuvo la visión de crear un “centro digital” donde los consumidores pudieran gestionar su música, videos, fotos, etc. Primero se introdujo en la creación de los dispositivos personales como el iPod y luego el iPad. Y en 2010, presentó la estrategia sucesora de un “centro” que estaría alojada en la “nube”. 13-. Combina las humanidades con las ciencias Jobs tuvo la habilidad de conectar algunos extremos que parecerían opuestos: las humanidades con las ciencias, la creatividad con la tecnología, el arte con la ingeniería. Y confesó a Isaacson “De niño siempre pensé en mí como una persona de humanidades, pero me gustaba la electrónica”. 14-. “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish” De acuerdo a Isaacson, Jobs se mantenía “Hungry and Foolish” a lo largo de toda su carrera. ¿De qué forma? Asegurándose que el aspecto de negocios y su costado de ingeniero, siempre fueran complementados por un lado inconformista, hippie, de sus días rebeldes en los años sesenta, cuando formó parte de una generación que reunió a hippies y a geeks en el Silicon Valley.

Conclusion
No cabe duda de porque Steve Jobs hoy en dia es reconocido como de los lideres mas reconocidos en el planeta, deja enseñanzas de liderazgo de persona de como manejar una empresa y tlo mas importante de vida.

He was a man that came from nothing and showed the world that anybody who dreams for something can accomplish it. He is a leader not only in business but also in the world. Many people look up to him, including myself, and I would one day hope to possess an ounce of the leadership that he had. I have already attained my associate’s degree in business administration in June of 2011 from Orange County Community College in Middletown New York. His Biological mother was an unwed graduate student named Joanne Simpson, and his biological father was either a political science or mathematics professor, a native Syrian named Abdulfattah John Jandali. In 1950s, the baby was put up for adoption. Joanne had a college education, and she insisted that the future parents of her boy be just as well educated.
