The Middle of the Night , by Robert Cormier had an interesting setting because it switches settings multiple times during the first few chapters. The interesting part about how the book describes a spectacular arena, or what used to be one. The book describes it as an old Holly -Wood theater called the Globe. It is used for many different variation in acts one in which is a magic show. The magic show being in the Globe is significant because of the location and setting if it were in a newer theater, it would not make as much sense as if it were in an older theater. The old, rickety, theater gives the reader a suspicion that a certain event might occur in such a run down place. The scene switches from a theater to the hospital scene. the hospital
