The Las Vegas shooting was the most deadly mass shootings in America history. Many people were wounded and many people died. We have seen many mass shootings in our country but we have never seen this much devastation on a night that should have been perfectly normal. People were giving a valuable effort to help one another during the attack but it was too chaotic for most people to focus. There were a few people that stood out but one individual hero in my eyes stood out the most. This person fits my definition of a hero because of his courageous actions. The man’s name is Taylor Winston and he is a hero during the Las Vegas mass shooting.

He identified a threat, he took action, and he was brave. Not many people have the courage to do such actions like Taylor did. You have to take action, and you at least need courage to assist others in a time of need. You don’t have to do be brave like Taylor to be a hero but if you have the courage to help people when they need it most then you could be considered a hero in that person's eyes. People have questioned whether if everyone has the power to show kindness to others. It really all depends on the person because depending on how they were raised and what kind of path they chose will determine the outcome of that person's kindness. Like Taylor, he chose the military path and it taught him mental and physical toughness and learned to care about the people around him and using teamwork with his unit. Because of his choices he learned to care for people, be brave, and have courage to put others first before himself. This is why I admire and find Taylor Winston a hero. He does all these wonderful actions that makes him a good man, and I'm glad to call him a
