(Alessandra, 2014)
Personality Types
Steadiness Personality I myself, Member A, was placed in the Steadiness category. As a team leader I would not call myself an assertive individual. As a steadiness individual, I like to defer to more of a democratic system of making decisions. This allows the other individuals in the team to voice their opinions and feel like their opinions are valued. Also, as a steadiness individual, I understand that each individual brings valuable information to the team. While I do tend to be the dependable and steady person, I realize that sometimes I fall into a routine and follow the same chain of events. It is important for me to realize that there are quicker ways of doing things and that things can change from time to time (Alessandra, 2014). Some of my strengths are actively listening, consistency, and the ability to follow through with tasks. The weak points for myself are that I tend to be slow and take things personally.

Cautious Personality
Member B and Member C both fall into the Cautious group. These individuals are the logically minded of the team and enjoy the research portions of the tasks. Some of their strengths are that they are both innovators and have an eye for detail. This allows them to find the flaws in a task prior to it reaching its intended destination. Additionally, they are both extremely organized in their information and approach of tasks. The weaknesses that Cautious individuals deal with are that they tend to nitpick and are perfectionist (Alessandra, 2014). It is almost impossible to be perfect so this is a fatal flaw that slows them down. Things that these individuals must work on are their time management and focus on adjusting to change. Dominance Personality
Member D was placed in the Dominance group, which could not suit him better. As a Dominance individual, he is the go getter and the decision maker. He enjoys taking the lead on tasks and does a good job at it. Dominance’s strengths are that they are problem solvers and meet goals effectively. They are also considered to be headstrong and impatient (Alessandra, 2014). These weaknesses can cause them to struggle in the area of relationships with team members. They tend to come across as unfeeling and brute. These are areas that they need to work on, as interpersonal skills are extremely important in a team environment. Team Action Plan
Our team member’s different personality types are very compatible. In order to make the team work, we must all adjust ourselves to each other. As the Steadiness personality, it will be important for me to assert myself in the group. I cannot take things personally when we have conflict. Our team members in the Cautious group will have to work on this as well so that they feel comfortable in the group and can be effective. Our Dominance individual will have to work on his interpersonal skills and understand that the Steadiness and Cautious personality types need time to make decisions and think things through. There is a deadline to meet though so these two groups must work on being quicker about making decisions and meeting goals. The Cautious personality types have the potential to give the team the best possible research potential, while the Dominance can motivate the team to work quickly and meet deadlines competitively. We must each give effective criticism based on what needs to happen with the project and not how a person works. This is important to develop a relationship between team members and strengthen our team skills.

Conclusion
In conclusion, we have addressed the individual strengths and weaknesses of each personality style in the group as well as addressing what things each personality style needs to work on. Also, we have developed a plan of action for the group to follow in order to be an effective team. Each person brings great attributes to the team and with this the team can grow exponentially. With our team we have the potential to utilize the strengths of each personality and be a great team that meets and exceeds all of our tasks.

...characteristic that makes them stand out to the organization. My organization has assigned my team a one year project that will change the organization. In order to be successful over the course of the year a clearly defined plan will be developed and carried out that addresses differences in attitudes, emotions, personalities and values as well as increasing the teams motivation, satisfaction and performance. In any team environment success is contingent on the motivation, satisfaction and performance of the team. Each of these facets requires the other to be successful. First, in order to motivate the leader should review Maslow’s hierarchy of needs which incorporates the elements of an overall theory of motivation (Robbins & Judge, 2011). This focuses around five specific elements, physiological needs, safety needs, love needs, esteem needs and the need for self-actualization. As long as everyone on the team can relate to each element the motivation to make the project a success will be achieved. The satisfaction is achieved by the progress a motivated team makes towards the completion of the project. If the project is broken down to phases a sense of satisfaction is easily achieved every time a phase is reached. The team leader will decide the rewards, but should solicit reward suggestions from the team themselves. This ensures that the rewards are truly wanted by the team versus unwanted rewards which can have little to no motivational appeal to win. Lastly, the...

Motivation Plan

...Motivation Plan Motivation Plan It takes a good deal of discontentment in a team for a leader to have to make a motivational plan. For any adjustment to occur correctly, the leader must identify a varying set of unique characteristics for each member of his or her team to assist in establishing cohesive relationships within that team. According to Woodward (2011, March 7), “Building and cultivating relationships is an integral part of any career strategy” (para. 1). The leader must understand the organizational culture and each team member’s attitudes, emotions, personality, behavior, and values before implementing the changes for the new motivational plan. Organizational Culture When identifying the culture of the organization, Robbins and Judge (2013) stated, “Organizational culture refers to a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes the organization from other organizations” (p. 512). At each of level, division, department, and team, the cultural identification philosophy is also used. A leader can treat the culture as the personality of the organizational and align his or her management style to that personality. Mentor identified the organizational culture as fun and inviting with a high level of required results (personal communication, June 6, 2013); Palmira (2013) classifies this as a “Work Hard/Play Hard Culture” (para. 12).
