Abigail should have went through the Phases of Negations figure 4.2 pg. 96 I would have decided what was important to me, defined my goals, thinking ahead how to work together with the other party’s for the best solution for all party’s involved. I would have done some relationship building so that I could have come up with a mutually beneficial set of outcomes. Next I would have done some information gathering about Sinbad and know the odds of the feasibility of a possible settlement. Then I would have used “information using” by assembling the case that makes the possibility for my preferred outcome and settlement. Then bidding. I would have stated my first offer and let Sinbad make his offer and move toward the middle ground. I would have not taken his first offer. Next I would have worked on closing the deal. I would made sure that the deal we settle on is beneficial to both. I feel as though Abigail was very immature and that she had a crush on Gregory. I feel as though Slug had a crush on Abigail and that is why he did not take her across the river in the beginning. In the end Slug had a means of crossing the river. Vana probably knew Abigail had a crush on Gregory and that Gregory didn’t feel the same way about her that is why she did not want to get involved. Sinbad uses his power to coerce Abigail.
3. 1. Slug is the most honorable he was just trying to defend his friends since she had already been taken advantage of by Sinbad. 2. Vana knew Abigail and new she was up to no good, so she decided not to get involved in any of it. 3. Gregory could have been more understanding and not have been so mean about the situation he should have defend her.
