In my younger years, I was passionate about football and basketball, being short I was quick and I had a wicked outside jumper. His father had the passion, and enthusiasm in the belief that controlling his young son would mold him into an NFL quarterback. The son also became entrenched in the belief that he would succeed at every conceivable level as he matured at the various levels of his particular sport environment. Every facet of that young man’s life was strictly controlled, from what he ate, activities and there were expectations that he would become a superb NFL quarterback. Circumstances and events unfortunately led to the opposite, he did become the quarterback for University of Southern California and he was drafted into the National Football League.
