The camp was set at Rivers Missouri’s and Mississippi’s confluence in Missouri just north of St. Louis. In addition, the camp was at just across River Dubois in Illinois. Clark took up the training of the severally different volunteer men who put themselves forward to undertake the expedition into the Pacific.
