In the article “The Omnivore’s Delusion: Against the Agri-intellectuals” by Blake Hurst. Hurst is validating industrial farming methods adjacent to modern or organic farming methods. The authors main focus of the article is to defend his views on farming and explain the methods of industrial farming. Hursts’ personal experience has powered his furiousness towards Michael Pollan’s book The Omnivores Delusion. Hurst goes on to defend his 30 years of farming to state that agriculture has evolved like other fields, Animals should be sheltered to protect them self, and industrial farming is a demand.
