The outside of your view Organ and tissue harvesting is a very big issue. People die every single day and or suffer from pain. The organs go to the doctors to tell for money, and the needed organ goes to someone who needs it. Organ removal, while not as prevalent as sex and labor trafficking, is quite real and widespread. Those targeted are sometimes killed or left for dead. More frequently poor and desperate people are lured by false promises.( Rabbi Dr. Reuven P. Bulka) The reason that they take poor and desperate people is because of these people have really nothing to fight for. They don’t know what’s going to happen when they go to trust someone who promises that they will be in a better place. Also they will get food and a place to go, but yet, they don’t go anywhere but a surgery table. This goes back a while. Like years and years. It’s mostly in china. But it also happens in other places too. Like in the Africa area and Egypt ect. In china, they do it in a different way. They do it in rooms like in hospitals and also right in public. They go on public streets and do the surgery. Everyone can see what happens and people sit there and watch too. This is okay in china; you cannot get in trouble from doing this. It’s normal there. Organ and tissue harvesting is basically a type of human trafficking where sick people either kidnap or trick people of all ages to come in to get surgery. When they get surgery, a lot goes on. They get put down to sleep and the doctor goes in and takes organs from these people who haven’t given any consent of taking their organs. So basically against their will. Then the people wake up in very bad pain and or they don’t even wake up. Sometimes even wake up in pain and then passes away. But after the organs are out, they put it in a box and sell it for hundred thousand dollars and even more than that. They do it for the money. The World Health Organization estimates that as many as 7,000 kidneys are illegally obtained by traffickers every year as demand outstrips the supply of organs legally available for transplant. A black market thrives as well in the trade of bones, blood and other body tissues. (Rabbi Dr. Reuven P. Bulka) 7,000 kidneys seem to be not a bad number for something that’s really hard to stop. But that is 7,000 kidneys gone and left for other people to die. There are other organs taken out then just kidneys. This causes more deaths and people suffering. Grils line up that have survived the surgery and you can see the scares from getting cut open and some started up from the hip bone to their privet parts. The most part of the body that is needed it’s a kidney. 68% of kidney’s get taken out while going into surgery. Another main organ is liver at 21%. The main gender taken in is a female. But men are in it to. They usually take little kids because their organs are newer and are most likely work better than older peoples. Educating people about this subject will help a lot. The fact that not many people know about it doesn’t help. For anything to happen, people need to see what’s going on and how bad it is and can be. Then maybe people can help out. If it doesn’t stop it can get worse over time and it can possibly travel over to the USA more and cause more problems here, people will soon think it’s okay since nothing is happening about it and they can get away with it. Right now, there are more than 20 million slaves around the world, more than any other time in history. And the sad fact is that many of them are children. You can help stop human trafficking. There are many websites out there that have donating pages where you can donate money. You can donate any amount on some of them. Even a dollar works, it’s a great thing to do. Many people think it’s pointless to donate to human trafficking because they don’t see it going anywhere. They rather go donate to something that is more “needed”. Like for example, cancer, people in need, medical stuff ect. Human trafficking is as important as these other charity’s and donation places. Also donating the time to get more people to be organ donors will also decrease the part of the problem. If there is more donors, then there will be less of a list of waiter and will give the people taking the organs a less need of it. Donating time is also a good thing. You can donate your time to help do a lot of things. You can help with research, helping the ones that have gotten put down, and standing up for these people. Also donating supplies, while donating supplies, it will help researcher’s get farther into stopping or at least cutting it down. The stuff donated will well be used within the process. Just donating blankets can help someone who had surgery and has nowhere to go and that is in pain they can stay warm or something. World vision is a website that gives people an option to help out.
