Nuclear Energy is made from the nucleus from the particles whom make up matter. Canada mainly uses nuclear power plants to keep up with 52% of Ontario electrical energy supply. This happens when the nucleus from the power plants make uranium to supply power around Canada. They take the uranium and apply it so it would change to Thermal Energy.
Nuclear energy comes in many shapes and forms. One of the main nuclear energy would be called uranium and plutonium. These energies makes it a nuclear power plant a source of energy since they use these two. Uranium nuclear energy is a silver element in the actinide series. Plutonium energy is a chemical element as known as Pu.
Nuclear energy is made with two fundamentals resources, fission and fusion. Fission is when the fission kinetic energy separates the uranium and plutonium into smaller …show more content…
Using nuclear energy for your electrily, it would cost 0.05 kWh but, for Geothermal energy, it would cost 0.03 K. It would be more cheaper for everyone to use Geothermal energy. It costs less, and you get to save more of mother nature's natural resources. The only disadvantage of using geothermal energy would be how much it cost to implement a plant. Since we are using the earth’s inner part, we have to be careful of the way we store it and the way we use it. For example, if we didn’t have any system of how we got the heat from the magma, that heat would just go into the air. We use pumps to take out the heat. However, it would cost a whooping 10,000 to 20,000 dollars to use it. This would be one of the main reason why many governments have been hesitant to use geothermal energy. For example, when the Iceland government had installed the geothermal power power, they were very deep in money to export these goods. They use many ways such as raising the tax and exporting large quantities of goods to other countries to gain extra
