Over the summer I read a few books but in particular, Never Cry Wolf, Of Mice and Men, and Old MAn and The Sea. Out of all three books the event that moved me the most was at the end of Of Mice and Men when George is forced, by circumstance, to murder Lennie. This event was very moving for me because I felt sorry for Lennie. John Steinbeck does a very good job of showing and explaining this character. We learn that Lennie is the strongest man in a room but he not always the smartest, which can get him in some trouble from time to time. But we empathize with the character because he doesn't exactly know what is going on which, makes the reader empathize with him when ever he gets in trouble.
