I. Introduction
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this to inform all residents living in or around Bayside that we have had many of our residents become ill with similar extensive symptoms. We have been doing thorough research to get down to the bottom of the problem, and have narrowed the illness down to a possible improper chemical disposal at a nearby company. We are doing everything in our legal power to get this unfortunate matter taken care of.

II. Diagnosis

The first thing I would do would be to contact those residents whom I know have been contracted with the illness, and ask them questions related to, where were they at the on-set of the illness? How long have they had said symptoms? Did anyone who may have been with them get sick as well? Were they exposed to anything unusual that may have gotten them sick? I would ask many questions that could help me get to the cause of the problem.

a. Symptoms

Here I would keep a book and log every symptom from every person I interviewed. This would allow me to find a possible pattern in related symptoms. I would also document ages and genders of residents who got the illness, so to see if there is a difference in children versus adult symptoms.

b. Medications/Vaccines

After evaluating ill residents’ symptoms, I would then ask them questions about what they have done to fight the illness. What medications have they tried? Has their doctor prescribed anything? What, if anything, has helped? What hasn’t helped? This way I can recommend these options to my residents who have contracted the illness.

III. Investigation

This is where I would tell my residents about every type of research I have done that is relevant to the entire case of the mysterious illness. I would let them know that I have interviewed as many of the sick residents as I could, and in what aspect I interviewed them, e.g. symptoms, genders, what they have done to keep themselves as healthy as possible, etc. I would tell them about any online research I have done such as history of this type of illness with these symptoms, news coverage of anything unusual that could be the cause of the problem, other cities that may have had this problem previously, etc. A big part of what I would research is the company who may be to blame for the improper chemical disposal. I would research their history and how many accidents they have had in the past, as well as what has been done to prevent it from happening again, if anything.

a. Research from community members

The type of research I would do here is to ask as many questions that I can in order to get to the root of the problem. I would document anything unusual the residents say that could pertain to the illness. Some things I would ask would be what are their symptoms? Did anybody in their household get sick too? Were they around anything unusual, or at an unusual place? How long have they had the symptoms?

b. Internet research

The type of research I would do here is researching illnesses that pertain to most, if not all, the symptoms the residents have all mentioned. Is there an actual disease/virus/bacteria that is causing it? Is there a name for it? Also I would research the cities history and see if there was ever a relative illness of the sort. I would also research online the state (or even broader) history to see if there was ever anything similar in the past. I would research the company who is possibly to blame as well. When doing the research I would look at all areas of the problem in different ways in order to find clues that could lead me to an answer.

IV. Conclusion

To conclude this paper I would inform the community residents that the city will further investigate the company in charge of the improper disposal and take legal action against them. If need be, implement a plan to make the company pay for medical bills of the people exposed. They could also possibly have to pay the families a set amount for reparations or a trust fund. I would inform the community that we are taking all steps possible to keep them updated and informed of everything that is happening. I would give them any names of people or companies that they can use for resources during this hardship.

Birth O Athena

...Terracota black figure painting, is available for view at the Yale University Art Gallery. The amphora stands in a glass case that allows the viewer to observe each detail of the amphora at a very close proximity. At simple glance you can see an oval shape Greek pottery vase with handles at each side. The amphora is made of clay with internal details seemed to be accentuated into the bodies to make certain parts stand out. The amphora is done with figures in silhouette all in black with hints of red and white. At first glance in the front of the amphora you see five figures done very delicate and grateful patterns in profile. In the center of the vase there is a figure that stands out from the rest of the figures on the frontal view of the vase. As you go around the vase four horses seem to be pulling a chariot that gives the impression of coming towards the viewer. The chariot is being commanded by a person dressed in white also in a frontal view. Also there is the presence of some geometric designs at the top and bottom of the amphora. Underneath the throne there is another small figure with a robe elegantly wrapped around the robe. At a closer view we see leaping from the top of the head of the central figure a very small person fully dressed in black and red ready to jump into action. In the center of the vase seating in a throne is Zeus with feet close together but one in front of the other floating in the air. The throne is done in black wit a hint of white and...

...civilizations are failing as their dependence on limited resources and unsustainable practices are taking their toll on us and our planet. It is clear what humanity needs at this time is a plan of action to work together to live in peace and thrive on the planet. There are many theories of how to accomplish this, and we already have the technology. What is lacking is the passion, the belief that together we can make a change for the better. It is at this crucial time the band, Empire of the Sun, has burst onto the global music scene to spread a bombastic message of love and empowerment for humanity. The systems of corrupt control that have entrenched themselves into our global economy, land management practices, and education have sprung up from those people hosting a delusion that they are separate from their fellow man and from the fate of the planet. The effective war tactic of “divide and conquer” has migrated into the fragmented psyche of humanity. We have forgotten that united we stand and divided we fall. The music of Empire of the Sun, and the creative process of the musicians stands as a microcosm of the positive power that results from co-creation. Just as the transcendental music of Empire of the Sun cannot be created by one person, humanity must join together to actualize harmonious living for all. The lead singer of Empire of the Sun is Luke Steele, and his partner is Nick Littlemore. These musicians collaborated extensively in Australia in their respective bands...

Analyzing Peter's Polysyndeton

...We have a responsibility to ensure that we do not stumble. God has given us everything we need to live a godly life and to participate in his divine nature so that we can stand and not stumble. God has done his part. In verses 5 through 7, Peter outlines the efforts that we are responsible to carry out. In these verses, Peter outlines our participation in this partnership. Before I talk about these efforts though, I need to talk about the Greek figure of speech that I alluded too earlier. Check out the structure in 2nd Peter starting with verse five. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.(2 Pet. 1:5-7 emphasis mine)...

Marketin Management

...Chapter Two – What is Marketing Management and what do product managers and marketing managers do?   The Meaning of the terms Marketing Manager and Marketing Management   Traditionally if a person had the title of “manager,” it meant that s/he had the responsibility to help guide the activities of at least a few employees. While this terminology has changed over the years, we still consider someone who has the title of ‘manager’ to be responsible for overseeing the allocation of resources for the organization. For example, as an ‘individual contributor’ I might have the responsibility of performing certain work (for example, writing marketing literature for the firm’s products), but not be responsible for the activities of anyone other than myself. In high technology industries, the word manager is often replaced with “Director” to indicate that a person has primary responsibility for a certain organizational function. For example, the ‘marketing director’ may be responsible for all marketing activities in the firm. At other firms, the term ‘marketing manager’ would be used to describe the same thing. In some organizations, the Vice-President of Marketing may perform the same functions. The term Product Manager is often used in high technology industries to assign responsibility to a specific individual or group for the successful supervision of all marketing activities related to a specific product or service. Sometimes the product manager’s responsibility is defined...

It has come to our attention that many families in our community are suffering from similar illnesses: seizures, learning problems, and hyperactivity. Some citizens in our community have shared concerns with the city council and others have expressed their concerns with the local health department. In researching these unusual events we have learned that a company in our local community is practicing unsafe chemical disposal, which is the cause of these unexplained illnesses.   In an effort to correct this dilemma, we have researched for facts, and found this company negligent of its decision to build on recorded disposal sites. We reach out to all citizens of our community and stand together to express our concerns to the developers, city council and environmental health department that what has evolved is unacceptable. In review of our findings, we have to make a decision about what action should be taken to best solve this problem. We will adhere to the readers to decide what reasonable action measures should be taken and proceed accordingly. Strategies we would apply when investigation the problem: generating the...

Unearthing an Inner Meaning in the Final Lines of the Great Gatsby

...In The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, there is a distinct development of emotions and symbols, and one of the key vehicles for illustrating this change is the final line of each chapter. Hidden within each final sentence lies an inner message that either pulls together a major theme in the chapter leading up to the sentence, or is a harbinger of the coming chapters. Beginning with the final word in chapter one, “darkness” (21), and concluding with the novel’s final word, “past” (180), Fitzgerald uses simple closing words to represent a deeper, continuous meaning that pervades the book. By doing this, Fitzgerald is able to outline major themes in the novel, including facial expressions, honesty, and balance. Most clearly and powerfully, however, the outline of lightness through positive imagery and darkness through negative imagery is presented in the final lines of each chapter. By grouping the chapters by hopefulness shown in their respective final lines, a trend is apparent. In chapters one through three, the final lines provide a dark, sullen preview for the chapters to come, while chapter four provides a transition into the final lines of chapters five and six, which signify a brief sense of giddiness that begins to darken. Finally, the last lines of chapters seven through nine mark the development and completion of the violent “holocaust” (162). Supplying a preview at the end of chapter one as to the violence to occur later in the novel, Nick says he is “alone...
