...Akina Warren American Intercontinental University Unit 3 Individual Project BUSN-300-Lower Division Capstone August 5, 2012 When going for a job or career change it is important to work for a company that is interesting, prosperous, and fits the morality lifestyle I live. These characteristics keeps me at a since of peace when knowing that I didn’t compromise my own ethics, morals or integrity for the sake of having a job. Therefore with this in mind I narrowed the playing field down to three promising firms for my marketing manager profession. The three companies I have chosen are Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Home Depot, and Amazon.com. I will explain in detail throughout this paper why these three companies are my primary candidates Wal-Mart has been around for forty years and was founded upon saving the consumer money. In this fiscal year alone the company has had approximately $444 billion sales and we are only in the eight month of the year. This is a fast pace continually growing company. They currently have 2.2 million associates worldwide and are located in 27 countries as well as all fifty states in the U.S. The biggest asset for working at this company is that they service up to 200 million customers and associates on a weekly basis. Being a customer of Wal-Mart, I have noticed that when the employees have been trained on offering the consumer their brand for an even lesser amount. With this in mind, I would encourage the firm to maybe focus on advertising their...

...M1 – Care Values The values of care are based on ideas about human rights. These are the rights which everyone is entitled to. Care workers will want to ‘act in the best interest of the individual’. This means valuing them in a way that they would wanted to be treated themselves. Care workers will show they ‘value’ the service users by applying the values of care in the day-to-day tasks which they do. In health and social care organisations, there are three main care values which are; Promoting equality and diversity of people who use services – which is to; understand and not show prejudice, stereotyping or labelling, understand and value the benefits of diversity, understand the bases of decimation, such as gender, sex, race, age, disability, sexuality or social class and understand beliefs and assumptions. This is important as it promotes trust and respect between practitioner and client and it shows the practitioner cares and fully accepts the client. Promoting individual rights and beliefs – which includes the rights to; be different e.g. sexual orientation, freedom from discrimination e.g. not to be treated differently, confidentiality e.g. have all personal information kept private, choice e.g. make own decisions, dignity e.g. respected, effective communication e.g. have things explained and to be listened to, safety and security e.g. protection from harm and privacy e.g. having own space which isn’t invaded by others without consent. Maintaining confidentiality...

But if the situation were reversed, I feel that if his relationship with his parents is not a very good one, then the proper support from his friends and teachers could be a big help to him. Before this class, I never really considered what a major influence a child's environment can have. I knew about the "nature vs. nurture" theory, but I would have thought that the child's parents would have the most influence on them. But after examining all aspects of a child's life, I feel that a child's peers, school and community are even more important. References Baumrind, Diana (2003, August) Parenting Styles. The second factor is the replacement quote of tags, which are already installed. In 1979 were 48 million tags installed in systems. ... ...

...P1 In this assignment I will be explaining three different approaches to health education. I will also be giving examples of each approach being used and lastly I will also be explaining the role of the health educators in these approaches. The three approaches I will be talking about are as follows; social marketing approach, two way communication and community development approach. Health education is usually used to give information and advice of the knowledge and skills that the professionals have gained in their sector in order to change the behaviour that affects health an example of this could be using social marketing by putting posters up in busses about eating healthy. Health educators come from a wide range of professions including teachers in schools, social workers who work with adults and young children, practice nurses in wards and hospitals and even care homes, health visitors that come out to individuals and leisure centre staff who work in gyms. Health education uses different approaches to promote health education and some of the approaches that are used and are being used I will be talking about within this assignment. Prescriptions were introduced 1952 smoking and cancer link introduced 1954 2000 NHS walk in centres introduced 2007 smoking ban introduced This time line links in with my campaign and shows how health improved over the years within drugs and other substances for an example smoking ban in public bases resulted in...
