According to Merriam-Webster (n.d) critical is defined as “using or involving careful judgment about the good and bad parts of something.” ("Critical," n.d ) and thinking as "the action of using your mind to produce ideas, decisions, memories: the activity of thinking about something: opinion or judgment” ("thinking," n.d) If we were to meld these two words, the logical conclusion would be to define critical thinking as an effort to understand interactions with the eye for seeing all sides and with judgment.
