The first complication is the arrival of the Europeans. There is no plausible way of avoiding that, however. Continuing off of the first complication, Nanabozho must lead his people away from the strangers, without harming the Europeans. The Second complication is the discovery of the silver vein. The third complication, occurs when the warrior disobeys Nanabozho. The Ojibwa's silver adornments being discovered and coveted by the Sioux, could've been avoided had Nanabozho kept his discovery secret or had the warrior not been so vain (vein-vain – get it?). The fourth complication is the Sioux turning to the Europeans with their new-found discovery, which, again, could've been avoided had Nanabozho been more sensible. The final complication is
