| |It’s About the Way | | |
| |You Finish | | |
| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” | | |
| |(2 Timothy 4:7, NIV) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |So often, when people make mistakes, they get down on themselves and think, “If only...” “I should have...” | | |
| |“What if...?” It’s easy to feel like you’ve missed the best plan for your life. That’s when people get | | |
| |discouraged and stop pursuing their God-given dreams. But understand today, just because you’ve made a mistake | | |
| |or failed in some way, that doesn’t cancel God’s plan. God never disqualifies you. He never says, “Go sit on the| | |
| |sidelines. You’ve blown it too many times. You’ve got too many weaknesses.” No, God always gives you another | | |
| |chance! | | |
| |Some of the great people in the Bible made very poor choices. The apostle Paul started off as a murderer, yet | | |
| |his destiny was bigger than his mistakes. He ended up becoming a great leader and writing over half of the New | | |
| |Testament. | | |
| |What am I saying? Our mistakes, our failures, our poor choices don’t have to keep us from our God-given destiny.| | |
| |With God, it’s not about the way you start in life, it’s about the way you finish. Receive His grace today and | | |
| |embrace the bright future He has in store for you! | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |A PRAYER FOR TODAY | | |
| |Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy to me. I trust that my days are ordered of You. I ask that You | | |
| |strengthen and empower me to fulfill Your call on my life. I love You and bless You today in Jesus’ name. Amen. | | |

| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion” | | |
| |(Psalm 103:4, NIV) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |I know people who feel like they’ve wasted years of their lives because of poor choices. They spent years in a | | |
| |relationship that was toxic, years with an addiction, years at a job where they weren’t fulfilled. But you have | | |
| |to realize, nothing you have been through is ever wasted. Your past experiences, good and bad have deposited | | |
| |something on the inside of you. Those challenges have sharpened you to help make you who you are today. When the| | |
| |enemy brings hardship into your life, God has a way of taking that experience and turning it around for your | | |
| |advantage. You may think you’ve hit a dead end, but if you’ll stay in faith, you will see God begin to open up a| | |
| |new route. He’ll put the right people in your path, the right opportunities, the right circumstances to move you| | |
| |forward toward your God-given destiny. | | |
| |Today, don’t focus on what’s happened in your past, focus on what God will do in your future. He wants to | | |
| |restore your soul and revive your dreams. Keep believing, keep expecting, keep hoping because God has a new | | |
| |route for your future! | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |A PRAYER FOR TODAY | | |
| |Father God, I come humbly before You today. I give You my past, present and future knowing that You will redeem | | |

| |route You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen. | | |

| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| |Have you ever felt overwhelmed or even afraid of what God has called you to do? Maybe you were pursuing a dream | | |
| |or goal and things didn’t turn out the way you planned. Joseph had planned to take Mary as his wife, but when he| | |
| |found out she was pregnant, he didn’t know what to think. He was afraid that he might be making a mistake | | |
| |because things didn’t turn out the way he planned. But, God sent a messenger in a dream to reassure Joseph that | | |
| |he was on the right path. | | |
| |Today let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you to where you need to | | |
| |be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be afraid, trust that God is | | |
| |working behind the scenes on your behalf and that He will lead you into the life of blessing that He has | | |
| |prepared for you. | | |

| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable” | | |
| |(Romans 11:29, NIV) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |No matter where you’ve been, no matter what you’ve done, realize today that your destiny supersedes your | | |
| |mistakes. When God designed the plan for your life, it wasn’t dependent on you being perfect, never making a | | |
| |mistake, or never taking a wrong turn. No, God knew we would all make mistakes. He knows how to get you back on | | |
| |track no matter where you are in life. Just like there are many routes on a map, God has a plan to help you | | |
| |reach your destination. He has detours, shortcuts and bypasses. He has already calculated the entire route for | | |
| |your life. | | |
| |Today, if you’re feeling like you’ve blown it, if you feel like you are too old, too far gone or too off track, | | |
| |know that nothing you've done, no mistake that you’ve made — or ever will make — is a surprise to God. He’s | | |
| |already got it figured out. He’s arranged a comeback for every setback! He has grace for every weakness. He has | | |
| |mercy for every failure. Receive it today and move forward with boldness into the destiny He has for you! | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |A PRAYER FOR TODAY | | |
| |Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve given me. Thank You for keeping me on track and ordering my | | |

| |Get Your Joy Back! | | |
| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ | | |
| |Jesus” | | |
| |(1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, NIV) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |Did you know that it is God’s will for you to be joyful always? God wants you to be happy and carefree. He wants| | |
| |you to love your life no matter what your circumstances look like. In fact, when you have joy in the midst of | | |
| |difficult circumstances, it’s the evidence that you have faith and trust that God is going to bring you through.| | |
| | | | |
| |God’s supernatural joy is strength. When you have His joy, you can stand strong no matter what’s going on around| | |
| |you. You might say, “Joel, I’m just not a real jovial person. I’m more serious. I never laugh much.” I realize | | |
| |God made us all differently, but you can train yourself to laugh more. I read where the average child laughs | | |
| |over 200 times a day, but the average adult only laughs 4 times a day. What’s happened? We’ve allowed the | | |
| |pressures of life, stress and more responsibilities to, little by little, steal our joy. | | |
| |Make the decision today to get your joy back. Decide that you are going to look beyond your problems and look to| | |
| |God to see you through. Ask Him every day to fill you with His supernatural peace and joy so that you can live | | |
| |in His strength and victory all the days of your life! | | |

| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |In scripture, the enemy was coming against Hezekiah, causing him all kinds of trouble, trying to keep him from | | |
| |his destiny. But Hezekiah didn’t get all upset. He just kept abiding, being faithful and putting God first. In | | |
| |Second Kings 19, God said, “Hezekiah, I myself will come against this enemy. He will receive word that he is | | |
| |needed at home, and I will cause him to want to return and he will be defeated.” | | |
| |Notice that when you abide in Him, the Creator of the universe says, “I myself will come against your enemies. I| | |
| |myself will come against that sickness. I myself will come against those who oppose you.” It says God is the one| | |
| |who caused Hezekiah’s enemy to turn around. That means God can cause that unfair boss to take an early | | |
| |retirement. God can cause that neighbor that’s giving you so much trouble to decide to pack up and move. God can| | |
| |cause that classmate to be transferred to another school. | | |
| |Today, no matter what’s coming against you, keep pressing into God. Put His Word first place in your life. Honor| | |
| |Him in all that you do. Let Him fight your battles and bring you into the land of victory He has prepared for | | |
| |you![pic] | | |
| |A PRAYER FOR TODAY | | |
| |Father, I bless You and praise You today because You are good! Thank You for Your good and precious promises. I | | |
| |submit my ways to You; I surrender my will to You knowing that You are working in my life. Thank You for | | |
| |fighting my battles as I keep myself in covenant with You in Jesus’ name. Amen. | | |

| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |What a wonderful promise found in today’s scripture that when you seek God, when you serve Him with your whole | | |
| |heart, He will hide you in His shelter. You can be so connected to Father God that you are untouchable and | | |
| |invisible to the enemy! You are hidden in Him! That means no matter what is happening around you, you will have | | |
| |strength, confidence and rest greater than ever before knowing that you are safe in Him. Challenges may come | | |
| |your way, but you won’t be worried about them. You know that, ultimately, things are going to work out for your | | |
| |good. You know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. People may be talking, trying to make you look | | |
| |bad, but you don’t even give it a second thought. You know that your future is too bright to be distracted. You | | |
| |know they don’t control your destiny. You just keep on being your best, walking in integrity, meditating on the | | |
| |Word, worshiping throughout the day, and stay hidden in Him! | | |

| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |In life, we all have ups and downs. There are seasons that are more difficult than others, seasons of testing, | | |
| |trials and temptation where our character is being developed and our faith in God is being strengthened. | | |
| |Sometimes it can feel like you are taking two steps forward and then three steps backward. But if we’re not | | |
| |careful, we’ll start thinking that life is always going to be this way. Even in the strong seasons, you'll start| | |
| |looking for things to go wrong. | | |
| |God doesn’t want us to be living life like a roller coaster. He wants to bring us to a place of stability where | | |
| |we remain strong in Him. Jesus said, “I am the vine. You are the branches. If you abide in me, you will bear | | |
| |much fruit and your fruit will remain.” The word “remain” means “to be fixed, immovable, not affected by | | |
| |circumstances.” If you will just keep abiding in Him, just keep meditating on His Word, He’ll bring you through.| | |
| |He’ll make you strong, He’ll keep you stable, and you’ll keep moving forward into the life of blessing He has | | |
| |prepared for you! | | |

| |a Mistake | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all | | |
| |unrighteousness” | | |
| |(1 John 1:9, NKJV) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |When we make mistakes in life, there are three main things that we need to do. Number one, ask for forgiveness. | | |
| |Number two, receive God’s mercy. And number three, move forward with your life. Let it go and press ahead. | | |
| |So many people today are still beating themselves down over something they did five years ago. They’ve asked God| | |
| |to forgive them a thousand times, but can’t let it go. They go around living depressed, defeated and feeling | | |
| |unworthy. If that’s you, realize today the price has already been paid. The first time you asked God to forgive | | |
| |you, He forgave you. Now you’ve got to receive God’s mercy and press ahead. That mistake did not change who you | | |
| |are to God. My children have never once gotten up in the morning as an Osteen and then done something wrong and | | |
| |gone to bed that night with a different last name. No matter what they did, they’re still my children. | | |
| |You may have made mistakes today, but because of the blood of Jesus, you are still your Father’s child. You are | | |
| |still the apple of God’s eye. You are still His most prized possession. God may not be pleased with every | | |
| |action, but He is pleased when you receive His forgiveness by faith! | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |A PRAYER FOR TODAY | | |
| |Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus which cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Thank You for forgiving me | | |

| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!” | | |
| |(1 Chronicles 16:34, AMP) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |No matter what is going on in life, you can find a reason to thank God. What you dwell on is what you will draw | | |
| |into your life. You can either focus on your problems, or you can focus on your blessings. The question is: do | | |
| |you want more problems, or do you want more blessings? | | |
| |One thing I’ve noticed is that when you live with an attitude of constant gratitude, not only do you thank God | | |
| |for what He’s done in your life, you start thanking Him for what He will do in your life. You thank Him for | | |
| |opening doors for you. You thank Him for increasing you. You thank Him for bringing the right people into your | | |
| |life. When you say “thank you” to God for the things that are coming, it’s really a declaration of your faith in| | |
| |Him. You are saying in essence, “God, I’m so sure of Your goodness, I’m so sure that You’re working in my life | | |
| |that I’m going to thank You right now for what You are going to do tomorrow!” | | |
| |Friend, that’s the kind of faith that pleases God. When we trust in His goodness and believe that He is a | | |
| |rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, that pleases His heart so much. So today, have an attitude of | | |
| |gratitude. Let your faith say thank you. Praise Him throughout the day with a humble heart and watch what He | | |
| |will do on your behalf! | | |

| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |"No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong | | |
| |and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God" | | |
| |(Romans 4:20 AMP) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |Just as putting your physical body into action makes it grow strong, putting your faith in action through prayer| | |
| |and thanksgiving will cause your faith to grow strong, too. | | |
| |I love what this verse says about Abraham: No unbelief made him waver regarding the promise of God. What does it| | |
| |mean to waver? To waver means to go back and forth. It's a very unsteady posture. Spiritual wavering is when we | | |
| |go back and forth in believing the promises of God. Wavering shows up in our words and actions. | | |
| |Notice this verse didn't say that Abraham never had unbelief or doubtful thoughts. It tells us that he didn't | | |
| |let those thoughts cause him to waver in his words, actions and resolve. He took captive every thought and stood| | |
| |strong through His praise and worship! Remember, praise makes you stable; it makes you strong. Put your faith | | |
| |into action by thanking and praising Him all throughout the day! | | |

| |"…If God is for us, who can be against us?" | | |
| |(Romans 8:31, NIV) | | |

| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |I heard somebody say, "Don't let your heredity stop your destiny." Don't let the way somebody treated you, or | | |
| |what they did or didn't give you keep you from pressing forward and becoming all that God has created you to be.| | |
| |The people who raised you may have had addictions, but that doesn't have to be your future. You can be the one | | |
| |to break that negative cycle. Your parents may have had anger issues or never amounted to much, but you don't | | |
| |have to keep letting that curse be passed from generation to generation. You can be the one to say, "No more. | | |
| |This is a new day! I may have had an unfair past, but I'm not going to have an unfair future. I know that God | | |
| |put a blessing on me before anybody could put a curse, and I'm not going to let my heredity stop my destiny." | | |
| |Today, know that God is for you. When you choose to put Him first place in your life, then nothing can stop your| | |

| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |God has a place of victory in store for you today! You may be facing challenges. You may look around you and see| | |

| |“Quit looking at your circumstances and look up! Lift up your eyes of faith and look beyond where you are | | |
| |because there is victory as far as the eye can see! | | |
| |Remember, those things you are facing today are only temporary, but God Almighty is eternal. He’s the God who | | |

| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we | | |
| |cannot see” | | |
| |(Hebrews 11:1, NLT) | | |
| |[pic] | | |
| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |So many people today get down and discouraged because they only focus on their present circumstances. They’re | | |
| |constantly dwelling on their problems, what they don’t have, and what’s wrong with them. They don’t realize it, | | |
| |but they’re allowing the enemy to steal their hope. This negative frame of mind is what keeps people from moving| | |
| |forward in life. | | |
| |Understand today that faith is confidence and assurance about the things we hope for according to the promises | | |
| |of God. Like an arrow, your faith points to the target of hope. If you don’t have hope, that arrow of faith has | | |
| |nothing to aim for. It won’t accomplish anything. But when you keep your hopes up, when you keep expecting and | | |
| |believing, it’s like making that target larger and larger and easier to hit! | | |
| |Choose today to live with an attitude of expectancy. Don’t focus on your circumstances; focus on your God! Get | | |
| |your hopes up! Take captive every negative thought. As you focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness, you’ll feel| | |
| |that hope inside of you growing. Give your faith a target and move forward confidently in the direction of your | | |
| |dreams! | | |

| |Holding Fast | | |

| |TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | | |
| |“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised)” | | |
| |(Hebrews 10:23, KJV) | | |

| |TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria | | |
| |“Hold fast” is not a phrase we often use in this culture. But in the original Greek, hold fast means not only to| | |
| |embrace, but to embrace with force as if someone is trying to take something from you. In other words, you’ve | | |
| |got to have a firm grip or you’re going to lose out! And notice what we are supposed to hold fast to — our | | |
| |profession, our declaration of faith. | | |
| |I like to think of it sort of like a tug of war. You’re on one end and the enemy is on the other. He’s trying to| | |
| |pull that rope out of your hand. He’s trying to steal your hope and get you to speak negative words of doubt and| | |
| |unbelief. But you’ve got to be determined and stand strong. You’ve got to persevere and hold fast. Don’t let the| | |
| |enemy pull the seed of faith out of your heart! You might need to dig your heals in and get a new grip, but | | |
| |don’t you dare let go! Keep speaking words of faith. Keep speaking words of hope. Keep declaring God's Word and | | |
| |keep holding fast to the profession of your faith! | | |
