Impact of Ownership Concentration on the operating performance of Pakistani firms. Sample of 50 non-financial firms is selected from KSE-100 index of Karachi Stock Exchange of Pakistan. Descriptive analysis shows that there is an immense level of ownership concentration in Pakistani firms. Regression analysis suggested that there is a significant positive correlation among ownership concentration and firm’s operating performance. variable. Linear regression models are developed to examine the hypothesis and path analysis. The dependent variable of each model is auditor performance, whereas the independent variable of model 1 is spiritual intelligence, of model 2 are emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The parameters were estimated by questioner data, with of 83 auditor respondent had worked in public accountant firms all of Jawa Tengah and Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. With path analysis, this research

orders for the upcoming year is regression analysis; we calculated the linear regression formula from the given data, and then applied the formula to the later months. Based on the linear regression equation, we anticipate the cell phone industry to continue to grow over the next 12 months, but Jordan's boos should feel free to stray away from actual forecasts for certain months. Method II is used to forecast the cell phone orders for the upcoming year is seasonal analysis. Seasonal variations in data

company’s net income. Note that the p-value is not very impressive, 0.174, and the slope of the population regression equation could very easily be 0, at least based on this sample of years. For a year in which total revenues are $18 billion, the equation would estimate net income as $2.009 billion. The Minitab printout is shown below. CHAPTER 10. SIMPLE REGRESSION AND CORRELATION In agricultural research we are often interested in describing the change in one variable (Y, the dependent variable) in terms of a unit change in a second variable (X, the independent variable). Regression is commonly used to establish such a relationship. A simple linear regression takes the form of Y! = a + bx where is the predicted value of Y for a given value of X, a estimates the intercept of the regression line with the Y axis, and b estimates

Introduction to Multiple Regression Dale E. Berger Claremont Graduate University http://wise.cgu.edu Overview Multiple regression is a flexible method of data analysis that may be appropriate whenever a quantitative variable (the dependent or criterion variable) is to be examined in relationship to any other factors (expressed as independent or predictor variables). Relationships may be nonlinear, independent variables may be quantitative or qualitative, and one can
