Introduction:
I have created an e-business that I called “Season Survivor.” It sells everything that you need to survive the season, online at a cheap price. Now, when the winter season is here, “Season Survivor” sells winter supplies. The products my company sells, shall be necessity products: Winter supplies to keep yourself and your family warm. Products to keep your house safe and your car going when the thermostat freezes to ice.
My mission is to “become successful in providing a place where people can buy everything they need for the season, at a low price with high quality products.”
To be able to fulfill my mission I have chosen a Low-Cost Leadership Strategy. A critical factor is to achieve the lowest price on both operational cost and prices. Because of high fixed cost at the beginning of a new company, sales volume needs to be high.
My other critical success factor is marketing. There are many online businesses out there, and even more websites. It is difficult to make consumers buy products from your company, but even more difficult to make them visit your website. That’s way my other critical success factor is marketing.

“Season Survivor” is an online retail store. The Internet business model for online retail store is often called e-tailers. E-tailers sell products directly to customers.

Technology plan:
It is important to have a well thought true technology plan. It gives an effectively use of technology and help minimize technology-related crises.

All my information systems shall, as far as possible, be bought as standard packages. Standard packets are cheaper to buy, since they are mass made. I assume that I do not have much available capital. My company needs to have a low cost structure in order to achieve its mission.
