...Delta Mu Delta wins prestigious Star Award TEMPE, ARIZ – Delta Mu Delta Lambda Sigma Chapter charted by the University of Phoenix has received the star award for exceeding Society standards for chapter operations and administration. This is this first time the local chapter has earned this award since its inception three years. To earn the award the chapter held two induction ceremonies in 2014 and monthly chapter meetings. A full slate of officers was elected including a president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary. The Treasurer submitted both the annual and financial reports on time, and the chapter had no outstanding debt. About a boy gives a unique perspective of a coming of age story. It follows the coming of age of two boys of two very different ages; Will Freeman 36 years old and Marcus 12. This novel shows the contrast between consumerism and materialism with real interpersonal connections. Will Freeman made the decision to pursue materialism rather than personal friendships, and to live in self-imposed isolation. Will had the ability to buy “cool” clothes, and sunglasses and sneakers, and so was never at a loss for acquaintances. Marcus, on the other hand, felt isolation due to a lack of materialism. Marcus was an outsider in his school in London since he could not have the best “coolest” clothes, shoes, and haircuts and thus was always the target of bullying. Rice and coffee account for about half of agricultural export revenues. Soybeans, cashews, sugar cane, peanuts, bananas, poultry, fish and seafood are growing. Vietnam's agricultural exports are vulnerable to international price fluctuations because these exports are largely commodity based. Vietnam's agricultural fishing and forestry industries together produce over US$3 billion of goods annually. Roughly 55% of Vietnam's workforce is employed in agriculture. Commensurate with economic development, the sector had gone from a 25% share of GDP to less than 20% in 2008. Farm products accounted for 22% of the country's income in 2008, down sharply from 50% in 2005. Finally 17% of all of its exports are related to the agricultural, fisheries or food processing industries, down from 55% in 2006. With this in mind we were able to give the coach driver that we booked an exact time of when we had to be picked up from the college and from the Delta Force. We had to book transport to the venue as the event was in Cardiff and also there were a lot of people attending this event so travelling all together on the coach made it much easier to do a register and see who was missing. After we had finished with the venue, we had to make sure that all of our rubbish was cleared and all equipment borrowed from the venue was given back to them in the condition that they were given in. It was our responsibility to clear up any rubbish by putting it in the bins provided and also to give back the overalls, guns and helmets. Three research questions were formulated. A total of 200 National Youth Service Corps members were sampled from 1200 Batch B 2012 Benue State. An instrument titled “Causes, Effects and Ways of Curbing Youth Restiveness Inventory” (CEWYI) was used to collect data. Data was analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The result revealed that youth restiveness is mostly caused by illiteracy, unequal distribution of national resources, poor child upbringing among others. The effects include upsurge of social vices and destruction of lives and properties while the result also revealed that it can be curbed through skill acquisition programmes and enlightenment against the phenomenon.
