“Matched” is a romance and dystopian book written by Ally Condie and is a New York Times bestseller. Cassia Maria Reyes lives in tightly-controlled society run by the government. In her society, when people reach the age of seventeen, they undergo a process where they get matched with their life partners chosen by the Matching Department of the government. The process is where you will stand upon a screen where your partner’s face will appear and the partners are usually either from a different town or a province.
