In many ways my education was great because I learned to challenge myself and because I’m in control of what I learn. Eighth grade was when I really learned to challenge myself mentally. I was taking two high school courses—one of which I basically taught myself the entire curriculum—Algebra one and Physical Science. The entire first semester of AP chemistry was an uphill battle and was riddled with failures.
