The book i have chosen to do my project on is, Black Privilege. The book Black Privilege was written by Charlamagne Tha God. He is a co-host of a popular radio talk show, The Breakfast Club. The author real name is Lenard McKelvey. This is his first book and it was viewed as a New York Post Bestseller. Charlamagne Tha God was born June the 29th in 1980. He was also born in raised in South Carolina. Been born and raised in a hostile environment showed him the wrong path to follow. When he was 15 years old he was arrested twice for getting caught trying to sell weed and cocaine. The third time he was arrested for being involved in a shooting. After getting out of Jail for the third time he decided to try to turn his life around. So he starts going to night school, after getting a internship at a radio station. In 2011 he served as a cast member on tv show Guy Code. The show was a comedic show on MTV2 about a guys code of conduct. At the end of 2013 he was offered his on own show on MTV2 that was named Charlamagne and friends. Which was a talk show with a new comedian and rapper guest every week.
