Schooled by Gordon Korman has a character named Capricorn Anderson who is an ordinary 13 year old boy who has grown up at Garland Farms being a hippie.His grandmother Rain fell out of a tree one day, picking plums. This would be a big deal in Cap’s life because he has to go to a middle school. He has never been to a middle school before and he has to deal with the bullies who want to make fun of him.

They put in a vote for Cap to be president. On his first time on the stage he promised the school he would learn everyone’s name. Everyone took that as a joke but he didn’t. He went around school asking everyone’s names. Every Day he kept getting spitballs spat at him but he just shook it off and went with it which made Zach Powers the cool guy angry. Zach and his gang put gross things in his locker and wrote love notes and put them in his locker, but it still didn’t effect him which made Zach even more annoyed.
