Transgenders Deserve Respect

Caitlyn Jenner used to be known as a former Olympic track runner and a father of ten children, but today, he is known as one of the role models for the LGBT community. She made her first appearance on the ESPY Awards and expressed her thoughts on what the transgender community should have. It was difficult for her to come out of the closet, but luckily, she received love and support from her loved ones. Countless people look up to her for being inspiring and courageous. She is still learning new things of what a girl physically deals with. Caitlyn stated, “Thousands of transgender people are coming to terms with being true to who they are” and yet, they are being humiliated, abused, becoming homeless, and worst …show more content…
There were not many attempts to it. In her life, she was the power of the spotlight. In a deep, sincere tone, Caitlyn said, “With attention comes responsibility.” Words and actions will be observed by millions of people and what is presented will be followed. Still occurring today, people are being abused and are committing suicide for being transgender. Jenner mentioned two people that have passed away; Mercedes Williamson, a 17 year old transgender young woman, was found in a field in Mississippi stabbed to death by a man who hated transgenders. Sam Taub, a 15 year old transgendered young man, committed suicide from being bullied on social media. These stories haunts Caitlyn because it happened before her interview with Diane Sawyer, where she revealed to the world that he is transgender. She mainly targets the young adults rather than the older people because they are the ones who are being bullied the most in schools, homes, etc. As one of the role models in the community, anything she states to the public will have an impact on others, whether it is good or bad. This encourages those who are afraid to stand up for …show more content…
Education, in this matter, means learning and creating ways to build a peaceful, more acceptable society. Learning as much as you know about the person will help to understand them better. Caitlyn knows how difficult it is to be acknowledged she states,”I know the people in this room have respect for hard work, for training, for going through something difficult to achieve the outcome that you desire.” With education, it is the next step into helping young adults, or anyone, who in the LGBT community, achieve something great to obtain the respect needed. Transitioning is a difficult issue on anyone. In some cases, education could work, but it is not yet proven effective because there are violence occurring around the world and values we have to respect, such as religion, which is one of the biggest topics when it comes to anything related to LGBT. To reshape how transgender people are viewed, it is partially our task to take a stand and the role models that the community looks up to, as they are shown all over the media. Caitlyn’s responsibility is to tell her story effective was possible, so that people will continue learning because it will travel around and the message being taught may conduct people’s lives. This speech was an emotional rollercoaster; Caitlyn brought laughter, tears of joy, sadness, courageousness, and a standing ovation throughout her audience. Not many people take a stand for what others believe in, but

Kardashian-Jenner Family Theory

...Critics have claimed that the family is famous for actually nothing and that a lot of the events on the show seem to be fabricated. The Kardashian-Jenner family has been described as “desperate for fame” and “self-absorbed”. But nonetheless, the show has attracted a huge audience, and became one of the most successful shows on the E! network. [7] Keeping Up with the Kardashians has become the “guilty pleasure” for many. Their success is almost fascinating. It stems “from the perfect storm of a social media and an image-driven culture, globalization, and our fascination with things that are both attractive and relatable.” Kim Kardashian has become the face of modern beauty. The sisters have been described as “priviledged, attractive, curiously and debatably successful, somewhat boring in terms of overall gravitas or complexity, both unintentionally profound and ignorant, unapologetically...
