Selflessness requires time and patience to understand your piers situation and effectively help them through the ordeal. While doing this you must be altruistic and not look for anything in return. The whole idea is to do good catholic works from your heart and nothing more, help others because they need you, do not look for personal gain for helping them. Jesus Christ is the full embodiment of being selfless. He did for others what he wished (but did not expect) to be done to him. Since August 2010, he has been on paid suspension from the Springfield campus after publicly embarrassing a student he believed contributed to his denial of a $500 teaching award. Yet, this month, in what is believed to be a first-time action by University of Illinois trustees, Wozniak’s 41-year tenure was revoked and his employment immediately terminated after making a(n untrue) joke online about remembering only the names of students with whom he’s had sex. While clearly showing poor judgment and a lack of sensitivity, Wozniak’s situation calls into question the ethical justification for academic tenure, which is the focus of this paper. When people talk about crime, most people are just basing there story off of something they saw in a movie or something they saw on television. Most of the crimes in movies are; assault, bribe, armed robbery, manslaughter, or racketeering, just to name a few. For example the movie “Public Enemies” starring Johnny Depp, it portrays a rough outline of the infamous John Dillinger and his gang. When I first saw this movie I was amazed because the story that they showed wasn't at all what I expected, I expected to see all major crimes take place one after another and grueling shootouts the whole movie but they showed his kind and calm side and it actually turned out to be a great movie. Another example of crime and the movies but on the other side of the law would be any of the “X-Men” series. These people may be mutants but most of them use their gifts for good rather than break the law. A classic example would be “Robin Hood”, he broke the law only to help those in need. The numbers: (1) are not isomorphic with capital market values, (2) do not have a future orientation, and (3) are un-interpretable since they are based upon five different measurement attributes. The lack of isomorphism argument is invalid since actual current performance is not identical with the capital market expectations of future performance. The lack of a future orientation argument is invalid since financial statements capture what has happened and not what is expected to happen.
