...The Cheese Cake Factory SWOT Business 100 October 28, 2013 As a full upscale restaurant that serve fresh gourmet food. I believe some of the strengths of the Cheesecake Factory are the variety. Its 30+ page menu provides something for all to enjoy. My family and friends enjoy the fresh ingredients along with the Portion size of the foods, desserts even down to the appetizer that alone is well worth the cost. The Cheesecake Factories I been to are located in or adjacent to upscale malls, with casual dining which I love because this always allow me and my family to do some much needed shopping after we have dinner which allow us to walk off all the calories we just ate. The Cheesecake Factories restaurant has an awesome full scale bakery which is the first thing you smell as soon as you walk in the door. No matter what dish you choose out of the 200 plus items on the menu, you have a delicious cheesecake to top off your dining experience that’s why every time I go I get something different. Although we do not live in a city with a Cheesecake Factory, we make it a point to go when we visit Charlotte or Atlanta. The Cheesecake Factories weaknesses are the extremely long wait time. We have gone several times at different location and different times of the day, and each time our wait is at least 1 hour long. We normally wait but there have been a few times when we have left because we are starving. Another weakness is the small waiting area is...

Strength When people think of Cheesecake Factory, the first thing that comes to their minds is cheese cake. The name Cheesecake factory is a strength I credit to the Cheesecake factory and its founder, Evelyn Overton. Evelyn Overton had created her own cheesecake recipe. She opened a shop in Detroit in 1940 but eventually closed the shop and moved to her basement and continues her business. Evelyn made that choice in order to be a say at home mom and raise her children. While cooking in her basement, she still was able to continually supply major restaurants with her delicious cheesecakes. About 30 years later in 1971, she and her husband made the choice to move to Las Angeles to try to establish a shop again in California. They both managed to open a 700 square foot store called The Cheesecake Factory. Numerous people have common knowledge of cheesecakes. There are so many different varieties of cheese cakes. The over 40 choices of cheese cake varieties available s is another one of the outstanding strengths Cheesecake factory has. The consumer will keep coming back to try all the various cheesecake varieties...

Just the name along sets it apart as an iconic and delectable place, you can tell that cheese cakes are just one of many of the restaurants specialties that it has to offer. Back in Detroit within the 1940s Evelyn created her own original recipe for cheese cake where Evelyn and Oscar open there own cheese cake shop together. That’s until Evelyn gave birth to their kids David and Renee where they closed up shop to focus on their family. Though never giving up on her passion of baking Evelyn supplied the local restaurants with her original take on cheesecake which was in high demand. Into the couples 50s they moved to los angels and with their last savings opened up a restaurant and dubbed it the cheese cake factory. The years weren't favorable and hard but they persevered, and in 1975 that led to expansions and opening of newer locations left and right, Evelyn’s recipes of cheese cakes grew to over 20 varieties and other desserts. The company grew so much that Oscar had to hire truck drivers to accommodate the out of state customers. Than in 1978 David Overton (son of Oscar and Evelyn) open up the first cheese cake factory restaurant in Beverly hills with little knowledge but a strive and intuition of making a great restaurant expertise perfect with generous portions and unlimited inventive menu selection the cheese cake factory was a success and within 30years...

...ETHICAL AND SOCIALLY RESPONSIVE BUSINESS TERM PAPER WEEK 10 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS STRAYER UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR DOCTOR WILSON HUNTLEY TODD J. DUPONT 13 JUNE 2013 In a time where society is on the verge of just about everything, our definitions of luxury has become greatly reduced. While “Living Well” was seen as paying your bills on time, and having a nice savings account, this has dwindled to just paying the bills. Consumers are spending their money more frugality than ever. Businesses have to compete with so many other companies, for the average person’s money that there is no room for error. As the CEO of the Cheese Cake Factory, my focus and attention for all staff members will be on general standards, and the conduct of company staff, compliance with the laws that are set forth for the Cheese Cake Factory and its affiliates, and the use of company electronics. We will also identify the steps in which the conduct will be examined and enforced. In conclusion I will discuss the ways in which our corporation can participate in the community to make a positive impact on consumers. Proctor and Gamble, 3M Company, and Johnson and Johnson have dated back for over 80 years (The Motley Rule) the reason is quite simple. A company standard that was unprecedented. A corporation is a family, and every person has a responsibility. Treated with dignity and respect, employees are supported and encouraged to perform at the highest level that each of them are capable of. All of...

In the first century AD, The Roman writer Apicius states the steps in cheese production when writing. The Roman word for cheese is caseus, which is derived from the word casein, which means milk protein that is curdled to make cheese. The French word for cheese fromage and Italian is formaggio and Italian word, which come from the Greek word formos which stands for form or mould. Essentially, cheese is produce by curdling fermented milk then removing the liquid that forms which is known as the whey. The curds are generally curdled using rennet; a substance extracted from the stomach of animals such as cows, and salt is used to flavor it. It was unclear when exactly rennet was first used, but there is assumption that it was by the Etruscans, during the fifth and sixth century BC. The Romans were the ones who pioneered the method of cooking curds in cheese making, allowing for longer shelf life, enabling harder cheese to be trade and transport conveniently. The combination of bacteria used to ferment the milk, in combination with kind of milk and particular type of cheese-making method used, plus the action of time as cheese is matured, are...

Large, usually enclosed shopping centers containing a mix of different types of businesses, malls are terrific, as they usually service a large area or market and are accessible from major thoroughfares. Malls are natural traffic draws, and the good ones can attract a large number of potential customers to your business. But all that traffic usually comes with a high price. In addition to rent, you'll likely be required to pay for common fees such as area maintenance, association dues, and mall advertising, among other charges. B.
