Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Purpose: The purpose of a CNA is to help patients by giving them baths and helping with daily needs such as feeding, providing comfort, transportation, and monitoring their health.
Job Duties: * Bathing patients, feeding them, providing nourishment such as water, shaving, backrubs, proving ultimate comfort. * Testing patient’s urine, checking vital signs often, therapeutic baths. * Serve and protect the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. * Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure. * Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Skills and Qualifications: * Being able to multi- task, bedside manner, nursing skills, creating safe environments for patients, Acute/ critical care. * Minimum experience- CNA certification, High school diploma, Must have transportation, be able to travel. * Must have experience in the healthcare industry. * Must have availability on weekends, and expect to work long hours.
