Imagine your life as it is now and then suddenly you are the King of Britain and you are only fifteen years old. The instant that Arthur Pendragon removed that sword his life was changed forever for the inscription read “The one who pulls this sword out of the stone is the rightful ruler of all of Britain”. As the new ruler of Britain, King Arthur will gather the bravest and most worthy knights in all of the land to join his round table and together they will bring justice and order to Britain. From fighting the most dangerous foes to searching for the Holy Grail King Arthur and the Knights take on each of their challenges with courage. In this essay I will talk about how the author uses mood, author’s purpose and imagery to tell the story…show more content… Some evidence can be found that it’s not persuading us to believe in something like a commercial or some essays. And its not a informational story because its not a real story. Its entertaining because its just a fun story about knights, Kings and beautiful maidens. Which I don’t know about you but as a kid I loved I mean love knights.
The authored used imagery very well in this story like when Merlin first appeared it describes him to be a wrinkly, raggedy, and filthy old beggar. Another would be when it describes Guinevere’s beauty it describes her skin to be fair as can be and her hair to be long and golden. The author had used it to describe the world around them to give the reader a feel of what it looks like.
The mood of this story is that it’s mythical and contemplative. Its mythical because of the time its set in, the creatures they fight in the story and of course Merlin probably the greatest wizard of all time except for Mickey Mouse. And its contemplative because throughout the story there’s gasp moments like when Arthurs first sword breaks or when Lancelot gets wounded. The usage of mood in this story just makes you wonder what could happen next like in game of thrones when anyone could die
