Movies, books, and television shows are defined by their characters. Most people can relate by their speech, culture, thoughts, and/or actions. There are several characters people may relate to, but in my personal opinion I relate to Cordell Walker from “Walker Texas Ranger.” To begin with, Walker is consistent with what he may say or do, and he does not take the day off often. Also, dependability is a valuable resource in any line of work. He is always where his needed. I like to help people out whether it is lawn upkeep, manual labor, or just being around to assist with simple things, I feel it is my duty to do so. Being reliable when the need arises, builds trust among people the among oneself. Finally, he is looked upon by many as a honorable hero. He honors and respects his job, people, and nation with pride and dignity. This kind of love for one’s country I can understand. He faces dangerous convicts daily, and uses what he has against them. From martial arts to his pinpoint firearm accuracy, he has been well equipped for the job. I cannot say that I have faced men with weapons, but I can say that I commonly use what I have readily available to my advantage. He is able to take down his opponents almost with his bare hands. He does not need large guns, he does what he knows best, and is consistent with his takedowns. After all, consistency is the key to
