Thank you for the kind words. They way that I looked at this case scenario, is how would I want a counselor to treat me if I had these conditions. Though I never been in Jean shoes, its better to have understanding of what they are going through then to judge them. Even when we are faced with people outside of the office we should still treat each other the same way we treat our clients. My cousin always tells me the heart of the conversation with someone is if they understand the same context as you do.

Decision-Making Process Paper

...steps from the text. The Problem and Why My current position consists of managing people and ensuring a multi-million dollar asset performs at its best. By doing so, we as a team must keep up with the constant change in occupancy, income, and renewals. These three things keep the asset flowing, which can be an issue at times; especially when having a demanding boss who seems to care less when your asset is in need. This trickles down to my staff and then on to the residents. As the text mentions, “a manager realizes some discrepancy between the current state (the way things are) and a desired state (the way things ought to be)”(Bateman & Snell, 2009, p. 89). As manager of this asset, I am aware of the current state; which in this case is performance. As of now our occupancy, income, and renewals are high in a numbers sense which is fantastic. However, within a few months numbers normally decrease as shown in our historical information. This is mainly due to extra monies or income residents have in the beginning of the year that changes/decreases by mid-year. Therefore, the constant...

...ALTERNATIVES We had come out two alternatives in order to help Sindy solve the dilemma she faced. The first alternative is expanding her business into middle and senior level segment after 2 years. By expanding the business, Sindy will able to get more profit. This is because the revenue that she will get from senior staff positions is higher compare to junior staff positions. The second alternative that we suggest is doing nothing. Doing nothing means that Sindy have to continue on what she do now and just focusing on the blue collar and junior staff positions. Alternative 1: Expand the business into middle and senior level segment after 2 years. Since on the first year of operation, Sindy are able to get an amazing profit as well as recovered all her investment in the business, there will be no problem for her to expand her business widely after two years. The reason we want Sindy to expand her business after 2 years, not after 1 year is because we want Sindy to gain more business knowledge and on the same time, save some money so that she will able to hire more sales people, HR professional and pay for leasehold improvement. In two years before expanding her business, it is important for Sindy to learn more on the recruiting agency business since she have to face a very competitive environment once she enters the middle and senior level segment. She will have to compete with various competitors which some of them may be a big company and have more experience in doing...

This can allow adulterations in a company that can either drastically improve situations or could potentially make things worse. In all reality, it’s always beneficial to understand where the weak links in the chain are currently. In the creation and finalization of the continuity plan, there can be assessments made that can highlight employees that are lacking, resources that are being utilized too much and or too little, and strategies that might be misdirecting. Stress Journal Reflection Essay

...this, I don’t have to deal with the same stressor multiple times. I can deal with it once and move on to something else. Another method that I had not utilized in the past, but started utilizing in the first journal, was the deep breathing technique. Trying to slow my breathing and heart rate down and calming myself down made it easier to deal with the stressor immediately. By calming myself and getting my heart rate in check, I’m able to clearly speak about what I need and what the problem is. This especially comes in handy when dealing with the general public. Calming myself down is a great way to more effectively deal with the stressor and conquer the issue in a more timely manner. I’ve also been able to not think about worst case scenarios all of the time when dealing with...

Analyse and Evaluate the Usefulness of a Break-Even Analysis

...Analyse and evaluate the usefulness of a Break-Even analysis for a business. 14 marks A break even analysis is an analysis made by the entrepreneur of a business based on the cost of production and the predicted sales that will be made. The point at which the amount of sales meets the production costs is known as the breakeven point. Businesses aim to have a low breakeven point, so it isn’t too difficult to make a profit, the goal of any private-sector business. However, there are several constraints to using a break-even analysis. The first and main constraint is that it is just a prediction based upon what could happen in the future with the business. There are no actual sales figures for the time period that the analysis is covering, and, for this reason, makes it being a prediction a major constraint. Alongside this, the assumption that all products are sold is very unrealistic in business, for example trends may change which would reduce demand, or a competitor may be able to produce the same products for a cheaper price, which would mean that not all of the products would be sold. A third and final constraint of the analysis is that it oversimplifies business. It makes business appear to be an easy world to crack, for example making assumptions about costs may be optimistic because the entrepreneur knows the level of profit that they want from the business, which would reduce the reliability of the analysis, and, in turn make it less useful, because the assumptions would...

Therefore, the piece has to be maintained in perpetuity since it is officially considered part of American and North Carolinian culture. It’s very instance, there are computers to maintain and upgrade, software to be written, and components to replace and possibly design. There are many ways to improve the whole system like, the sonic gates could more sync with the steps. They could use weight sensors on the steps which would allow the Arduino to sync with music system. This would allow the weight of person to activate the music system instead of person crossing the sonic gates. Water Wall functions on the solenoid contracting and release mechanism. Usually solenoids tend to get worn out .One way to improve is by changing the mechanism they work, using opto-isolator circuit. This will help eliminate noise and safe some voltage when solenoid contracts. Each of these operations uses a different form of technology, as the glockenspiel uses a MDI sensor. MDI is a port on a hub or switch used to connect to other switches without requiring crossover cables. The other type of software is the Arduino sensor, which is an open-source computer hardware company that design and manufactures kits for building digital devices and interactive objects that can sense and control the physical world.
