...Everyone dreams about big houses, expensive cars and clothes, but how many people stop to think about the more positive things they could do with their money? Every once in a while, someone makes it out of poverty but rarely looks back at the mold they came out of that made them into the person they have become. Many people have the crabs in a bucket mentality in the sense that when one crab tries to make it out the rest of them keep it from escaping because they are afraid of what is out there. When one crab does make it out of the impoverished bucket to a new, better world it never looks back to its bucket or in the real world, its community. In Ready Player One, we meet Wade Watts, a poor teenager living in Ohio in 2045. At this time the...

...the story. She posed as a batter in her son’s baseball game, giving everyone in the room a sense that they too were at the baseball game. Her hands complimented the words she was saying in a theatrical manner. For example, after receiving the diagnosis from the doctor, she created fists with her hands as though she was going to physically fight the disease right then and there. I thought Nancy was able to portray powerful images through her body language and hands, which is arguably harder to do than with actual props. In Nancy’s conclusion, she did not just restate what she had said previously, but instead she opened up the dialogue to the audience. Instead of asking for donations from the crowd or calling for volunteers to do the ALS ice bucket challenge, she hoped to leave the audience with some simple yet memorable action items. One action item was to live in positivity regardless of what may happen in life. I think that hearing a mother whose child is very ill continue to stay positive is an inspiration in itself. I am almost certain that the audience thought to themselves, if she can do it, I can do it too. Nancy also encouraged the audience to always question unacceptable situations and to always fight to change these situations for the better. This thought can be applied across a wide spectrum of circumstances, making her conclusion relatable to everybody. Nancy’s TED talk was more than just a talk about ALS, it was a talk about making the most out of every situation...

Each tow the sample was poured into a bucket for the location. Then after the boat basin parameters were, the plankton net was towed just below the surface from the first cleat to the inner corner three times. Again after each tow, the sample was poured in a bucket for that location. After everything was collected, we brought them back to the lab to observe under a microscope. In the lab, we used dissecting microscopes to observe the water samples. If the specimens were moving too quickly, we used Protoslo to slow them down. Then we identified all the organisms in our sample. We combined our finds with our classmates and the data was recorded in table 3 found in the results section. Results Table 3. Organisms found at both locations as a comparison. There are some similar species between the two locations such as hydrozoan and diatoms however those are the only two. Therefore, the species differences...

...AIR AROUND US All organisms on Earth need air to survive. Air is present all around us. Air occupies space. Q.1. What is air? Mention some of its components. Air is a mixture of several gases. Some of the components present in air are: Oxygen Carbon dioxide Nitrogen Dust Water vapour Q.2. What is atmosphere? A thick blanket of air surrounding the Earth’s surface is called atmosphere. Q.3. How can you demonstrate the presence of air? OR Air occupies space. Explain. When we immerse the open end of an empty bottle into a bucket of water, it is observed that water does not enter the bottle as all the space inside the bottle is taken up by air. But, when we tilt the bottle, air rushes out from the opening and water rushes in to fill the empty space. Q.4. What is ozone layer? Mention its use. The Earth’s atmosphere has a layer of ozone gas. This layer is called the ozone layer. It protects us from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun, thus preventing many eye problems and skin cancer in human beings. Q.5. Write a short note on the composition of air. Air mainly contains nitrogen and oxygen. The percentage of nitrogen is 78% and that of oxygen is 21%. Carbon dioxide, noble gases, traces of water vapour, ozone, dust particles and other gases make the remaining 1% of air. Following is the Pie-chart of the composition of air. Q.6. What are the properties of nitrogen and oxygen? Oxygen in air supports burning whereas nitrogen does not support burning. Plants make...

...Internship Report on Credit Rating and Factore of Affecting The Bank rating Executive Summery Credit rating agencies (subsequently denoted CRAs) specialize in analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of corporate and sovereign issuers of debt securities. In the new financial architecture, CRAs are expected to become more important in the management of both corporate and sovereign credit risk. The logic underlying the existence of CRAs is to solve the problem of the informative asymmetry between lenders and borrowers regarding the creditworthiness of the latter. Issuers with lower credit ratings pay higher interest rates embodying larger risk premiums than higher rated issuers. Moreover, ratings determine the eligibility of debt and other financial instruments for the portfolios of certain institutional investors due to national regulations that restrict investment in speculative-grade bonds. The banking sector in Bangladesh passed through significant changes in terms of structure and policies. Starting with six nationalized commercial and a few specialized banks after independence, the total number of banks has reached 48 at present including private and foreign commercial banks. The Bangladesh financial sector is under going through a phase of transaction, transformation and convergence. The regulators are more active then ever before to bring the sector up to an international standard. The competitive environment created with the presence of too many banks in...

...Definitions: Braising (from the French “braiser”) is a combination cooking method using both moist and dry heat; typically the food is first seared at a high temperature and then finished in a covered pot with a variable amount of liquid, resulting in a particular flavor. Braising of meat is often referred to as pot roasting, though some authors make a distinction between the two methods based on whether additional liquid is added. Cream is a dairy product that is composed of the higher-butterfat layer skimmed from the top of milk before homogenization. In un-homogenized milk, the fat, which is less dense, will eventually rise to the top. In the industrial production of cream, this process is accelerated by using centrifuges called "separators". In many countries, cream is sold in several grades depending on the total butterfat content. Cream can be dried to a powder for shipment to distant markets.Cream skimmed from milk may be called "sweet cream" to distinguish it from whey cream skimmed from whey, a by-product of cheese-making. Whey cream has a lower fat content and tastes more salty, tangy and "cheesy".[1] They are also used in variety of food products.Cream produced by cattle (particularly Jersey cattle) grazing on natural pasture often contains some natural carotenoid pigments derived from the plants they eat; this gives the cream a slight yellow tone, hence the name of the yellowish-white color, cream. Cream from goat's milk, or from cows fed indoors on grain or grain-based...
