...work that, in fact, they do not like and of course, do their job not very enthusiastically. This generation is particularly in trouble because jobs are scarce and many of us will be stuck doing jobs we hate just because we need money. Although this may be the right move for our careers now, this shouldn’t be something we do for the rest of our lives. it is best we search for something we are passionate about. There is nothing worse than having to wake up every morning during the week to mindlessly go do work you don’t even care about. However, this is never really an issue when you are passionate about the work you do. If you are not forced to work somewhere because of monetary constraint, you truly enjoy what you do and you never really work a day in your life. Even if you like your job you have to realize that not every day is going to be an enjoyable one. There are highs and lows, but when you are passionate about the work you do you look past the dull days. Your creative process is also different. You are more inclined to come up with creative ideas when you like what you do. It is also very important to love your job because at the work you spend almost half of your life. If you every day angry, unhappy, it all affects your health and the people that surround you. When you really enjoy what you do, nothing will stop you from getting your work done. Because you are passionate about what you do, you feel unstoppable and nothing can obstruct you from achieving greatness...

...Threshold Of Revelation By Christopher A. Johnson Scene 1 FADE IN on a long shot of New York City, approaching from the south. It is dusk, and the lights of the city are beginning to twinkle against the backdrop of the vibrant city. Quick cuts to street level scenes of well-known locales between title cards naming the cast. These scenes and title cards are cut with a moving shot of the George Washington Bridge (span, cables, deck, towers, etc.) from different angles and perspectives. . The credits end on one continuous shot as we approach a figure standing on the south side of the bridge, staring out over the Hudson River and the lights of Manhattan to the south. This is DECKER JONAS. He is tall and striking, wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. The camera then circles behind Decker going from left to right, catching Deckers view of the city at sunset. As the camera completes its half circle to the right and comes to a complete stop at DECKER’S ¾ profile we see he is holding a piece of paper, it is folded, he unfolds the paper and begins to read, a voice over begins. It is Decker’s voice. DECKER: Mom. Dad. I feel as though I’m losing myself again. [ 1. PAN to OS Right showing the letter] I know I am. I can feel life spinning away from me, and this time I have nothing to hold on to. Its as though I’m on one of those tacky carnival rides that Dad would take me on at Edgewater Days when I was a kid, although now he’s not there to hold...

...The Final Quest by Rick Joyner The Hordes of Hell Are Marching (Taken from "The Morning Star," Vol. 5, Nos 2-4, by Rick Joyner) The Evil Army I saw a demonic army so large that it stretched as far as I could see. It was separated into divisions, with each carrying a different banner. The foremost and most powerful divisions were Pride, Self righteousness, Respectability, Selfish Ambition, and Unrighteous Judgment, but the largest of all was Jealousy. The leader of this vast army was the Accuser of the Brethren himself. I knew that there were many more evil divisions beyond my scope of vision, but these were the vanguard of this terrible horde from hell that was now being released against the church. The weapons carried buy this horde had names on them: the swords were named Intimidation; the spears were named Treachery; and their arrows were named Accusations, Gossip, Slander and Faultfinding. Scouts and smaller companies of demons with such names as Rejection, Bitterness, Impatience, Un-forgiveness and Lust were sent in advance of this army to prepare for the main attack. I knew in my heart that the church had never faced anything like this before. The main assignment of this army was to cause division. It was sent to attack every level of relationship-churches with each other, congregations with their pastors, husbands and wives, children and parents, and even children with each other. The scouts were sent to locate the openings in churches, families or individuals that rejection...

...anything else, too much of one thing is usually not good. I don’t really think it’s fair to compare caffeine to other illegal drugs because the negative impacts of caffeine are only prevalent if the user is taking in crazy amounts of it. Other drugs like heroin can cause lasting effects on somebody after one dose. Taking in high amounts of caffeine over a long period can cause bad results, but that’s why people need to learn self-control. My dad is a farmer and he drinks a cup of coffee in the morning and drinks a couple pops through the day. That’s way more caffeine then I take in during a regular day but I wouldn’t consider him addicted at all. He works long hours and sometimes needs that extra boost to get through the day. I do not think that we should tell children that caffeine is a drug simply because caffeine is in so many products that people enjoy. With that being said, I think we need to make sure kids limit their intake of caffeine. Children should not be drinking energy drinks because that’s more caffeine then they can handle and this is what is going to cause negative effects on them. I don’t think it’s a bad thing if a kid has a pop every once in a while but it should definitely be limited. I’m not going to be a teacher or coach but I think it’s us as adults that need to talk to kids about the dangers of caffeine. If they limit the amount they consume then there should not be a...

...The Moose and the Sparrow Hugh Garner From the very beginning Moose Maddon picked on him. The kid was bait for all of Maddon's cruel practical jokes around the camp. He was sent back to the tool-house for left-handed saws, and down to the office to ask the pay cheater if the day's mail was in, though the rest of us knew it was only flown out every week. The kid's name was Cecil, and Maddon used to mouth it with a simpering mockery, as if it pointed to the kid being something less than a man. I must admit though that the name fitted him, for Cecil was the least likely lumberjack I've seen in over twenty-five years in lumber camps. Though we knew he was intelligent enough, and a man too, if smaller than most of us, we all kidded him, in the good natured way a bunkhouse gang will. Maddon however always lisped the kid's name as if it belonged to a woman. Moose Maddon was as different from Cecil as it is possible for two human beings to be and still stay within the species. He was a big moose of a man, even for a lumber stiff, with a round flat unshaven face that looked down angrily and dourly at the world. Cecil on the other hand was hardly taller than an axe-handle, and almost as thin. He was about nineteen years old, with the looks of an inquisitive sparrow behind his thick horn-rimmed glasses. He had been sent out to the camp for the summer months by an distant relative who had a connection with the head office down in Vancouver. That summer we were cutting big stuff in...

...DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? Exodus 3:9-14 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." 11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" 12 And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain." 13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" 14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' " Hmm. I have to be honest. As I rested my spirit on these verses, the lord asked me this question “do you know who I am?” I said “yes lord” I have to be honest, at that point nothing came to my spirit. this has been one of those weeks where I've had a hard time resting my spirit to hear from the Lord.... but I am pretty sure I know who my lord is... I said again "yes Lord" The Lord asked me again… “do you know who I am? I said…. “yes Lord” Again… know further response to the Lord. So… I continued to read: Exodus 3:9-14 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go...

...SMOKE Do you smoke? If you do it you never imagine the serious consequences that it would bring to your life. My Psychology class helped me to understand and think better about the damage of drugs, and how affect our central nervous system. Tobacco is a psychoactive drug with chemicals that affect our nervous system and, as a result, may alter consciousness and awareness, influence how we sense and perceive things, and modify our moods, feelings, emotions, and thoughts. In our days is very common to see people smoking; it is a widely used addictive drug, that alters cognitive processes, which include effects on attention and impulsivity, a mechanism that may contribute to the addictive properties of the drug. Everyone have the right to think, analyze, and have their opinion, but I want to share with you a message, a story of my best friend where she suffered a disease and began a new life. All began a holiday day where our friends, among laughers, invited her to smoke her first cigarette and to learn like them. Then she came to smoke one after other cigarettes every day, until she gets to smoke three daily packs. Today I understand why she continued to smoke. She had an addiction to nicotine. My textbook said about addiction:” refers to a behavioral pattern of drug abuse that is marked by an overwhelming and compulsive desire to obtain and use drug; even after stopping, the person has a strong tendency to relapse and begin using the drug again”. My friend had become dependent...

...Case Study: Panasonic and Japan’s Changing Culture Summary This case study focuses on the globalization and change in culture of Panasonic established in Japan in 1920. Japanese culture hasn’t changed but the world around Japan has changed. Panasonic tried very hard to adhere to the values that were already in motion but as the times changed so did Panasonic. Although this was a drastic change it allowed Panasonic to grow. “As the decade progressed, one Japanese firm after another was forced to change its traditional ways of doing business” (Global Business Today, 2011, pp. 126). Globalization played a huge role in the outcome of the Japanese businesses. Questions 1. The triggers of cultural change in Japan during the 1990s were that the generation born after 1964 wasn’t as motivated and grew up in a much richer and prosperous Japan. Another trigger was that the Japanese economy was sucked into a slump. Due to the fact that the companies in Japan were trying to keep their traditions and values, keep their employees happy and maintain good and efficient business caused the companies to suffer. Cultural change is starting to affect traditional values in Japan because it is causing companies to change their values. Companies are no longer following the set of values and folkways from previous years. They are beginning to follow the same rules and regulations of the society. Panasonic was also letting go of employees and modifying the social structure to better...

But there was only little water in the pitcher. He tried to drink from the pitcher but no matter how much he tried, he could not reach the water. “My beak is too big. The pitcher’s neck is very narrow. How will I get the water?” he thought. (Have the pupils predict: What do you think will the crow do so he could reach the water in the pitcher?) Then an idea came to the crow. He picked up some small stones. He dropped them into the pitcher one by one. (Have the pupils predict: After he had dropped some stones into the pitcher, what do you think will happen?) “One, two, three…” Plop, plip, plop. Little by little, the water rose in the pitcher. “Four, five, six…” Plop, plip, plop. The water rose some more. Soon the crow could reach the water. “Now, I can drink!” said the crow. “Ah!
