El' Anatsui Art work the Between Earth and Heaven reflects the world, he got his reflection from the kingdom of Asante, from their "decorative African Cotton-cloth texties known as Kente" (Fiero, Gloria K. Landmakes in Humanities, 457). El' Anatsui uses recycle discard objects such as aluminum seals and bottle caps from wine and liquor bottles to make his beautiful art work. His art work embrace the world from the 60's until today, form the global to tradition it tells a story about the history. El' Anatsui felt that the environment was very important because of the global ecosystem, the whole global village was effected by the poison pollutions to the air and land, he uses the recycle bottle caps to transform his art work.
