Lincoln looks around and sees that his wife has been stabbed with a knife, he panics he recognizes that the murder weapon ‏ ‏ was his own pocket knife. Lincoln's business partner killed Lincoln's wife and framed Lincoln that he had killed her. Lincoln was at the wrong place at the wrong time he got wrongfully accused him of murdering his wife shortly placed on death row.

Electrocution may be the cruelest punishment A person can get people to be executed arch strapped in a chair, then intense and electric shock is applied to electrodes attached to the prisoner’s body, more than often prisoners don't die after the first or second jolt of electricity, sometimes they are electrocuted three times for fourteen minutes each time before they die. Their bodies are chart and smoldering before their heart finally stops beating. The death penalty is not democratic it violates basic human rights, all humans are supposed to have the right to life according to the declaration of human rights put together by the United Nations after the holocaust to make sure nothing like the holocaust would ever happen or would be allowed to happen …show more content…
The first trial is to determine guilt is to determine punishment, then prisoners are kept in the high-security of death row during of which a series of appeals takes place. According to Forbes the death penalty costs four times more than life in prison costs, the death penalty costs $2 million where life in prison costs only $500,000.
Satisfaction:
a) I think at this point we are re-examining the death penalty. We are slowly losing our love for it, and sooner or later it will be abolished again. Maybe this time for good.
b) The fact is, the death penalty has never been shown to be a deterrent to crime. And it costs much more than life in prison without chance of parole. The purpose of government crime policy is to protect society from criminals as effectively, and cost-effectively, as possible, and capital punishment plays no part in this purpose.
