Experiencing other cultures is common among people for both research and for living life. Chapter 3 of the text Cultural Anthropology, discusses the different ways that people who study anthropology are able to use fieldwork to lessen cultural divide through better understanding. The more we are able to see things form someone else's point of view, the more likely we are to be able to relate to how they feel about something. This is an example of peace through understanding.
