ENSURE STUDENT SATISFACTION ON CLASS AND BEYOND

Introduction

Higher learning institutions like colleges and universities have put great importance on the area of student satisfaction. Student satisfaction plays a crucial part in evaluating the competence of the colleges and universities.

To satisfy students, the school must provide quality education. Students who enrol in higher institutions want to learn and become professionals in the future. Parents and students spend much money to have access to good and quality education.

Educational institutions must provide services that will satisfy students and make learning process effective and efficient. According to Schreiner (2005), “higher education tend to care about student satisfaction because of its potential impacts on students motivation, retention, recruitment efforts and fundraising” (p.1).

Balanced Score Card
In ensuring student satisfaction in class and beyond we have to apply balanced score card for us to be able to have a clear picture of the planning and implementation of current and existing criteria in measuring student satisfaction.

Perspective Student satisfaction is the most important key to continuing learning thus the retention. The main vision of this paper is to make sure that students are satisfied in their class and in all aspects of their school life. Students derived their satisfaction from the learning environment itself, from the quality of teaching (teacher relationships), from the learning resources and physical facilities and from the academic and staff support.

Objective The objective is to improve student satisfaction not only the classroom but as whole college life of the students enrolled in the university.
