The Exposition Transit Corridor Phase II is the extension project of the Expo Line Phase I, which connects the Westside cities east to Downtown LA, west to Santa Monica, and the neighborhoods in the greater LA metropolitan area. Based on previous research on Expo Line Phase I opened in 2012, the residents in neighborhoods along the new transit line tended to ride more public transit than other areas. (LADCP, 2014) Positively, it is reasonable to predict that Expo Line Phase II would attract more potential transit riders after opening.

The goals could be classified into three types, transportation goals, land use goals, and economic goals. In detail, goals include:

 Improve transit ridership;
 Build up walkable and bikeable friendly environment;
 Provide enough parking space;
 Mixed-use and compact development.
 Provide affordable housing;
 Increase employment density;
 Enhance local economic competitiveness;

Trading off about the constraints and chances based on previous goals and existing conditions, varying transportation options is the most important and complicated goal that connects and facilitates other goals. However, the challenges and opportunities faced with the Bundy station area should be identified to better understanding existing condition as follow:

Opportunities:
 Encourage creative industrial cluster;
 Capture the creative industrial opportunity from Santa Monica;
 Expo Corridor would greatly increase mobility and public transit accessibility;
 New zoning encourages mixed-use land use pattern;
 Bike path along Expo Corridor expends scale of bike activities.
