This media selection is a music video for the neo soul band Fitz and the Tantrums's song The Walker. This music video was directed by Warren Kommers and it focuses on the actions taken by an individual one particular morning. This man is first shown impatiently waiting in an outside line on a sunny day. Then, the individual spontaneously jumps out of line and begins acting in behaviors that are "out of the norm".

Through in depth analysis, it is concluded that the line in which the man was standing is symbolic of our society and the set of norms, values, and beliefs that individuals are expected to follow. The actions taken by this individual are representational of the sociological concept of deviance within society. As mentioned earlier,
