This system was developed in 1987 by Neil Fleming and is a very popular model (Cherry). In this model learners are identified by the different preferences they have for learning. The styles are Visual (seeing), Aural (hearing), Read/Write (books, notes) and Kinestheitc (hands on activities, movement, experiments) (Cherry). Description of My Learning Style Listening to lectures and taking detailed notes for later review was a very good way to absorb the information presented. Having an actual hard copy of the information that would be available for review prior to an exam seemed to keep the information fresh. With the online learning available today the approach is a bit different. The lecture is written out and available to review for the duration of the course and can be printed out, key areas highlighted and outlined.
