Habits May Be Good for You In (Warning: Habits May Be Good for You) by Duhlgg. Some habits in our life mabey save us, especially who for those live in the African nation. According to Duhlgg, Dr. Curtis, decided to save those who lived there from many diseases and death by changing consumption habits. Dr. Curtis began to persuade people to wish their hands with soap more than once a day because people who lives in Guinea use soap unfrequently. Also, a lot of diseases come from dirty hands. But she faced some difficulties to encourage them to use soap. Therfore, Dr. Curtis invited some companies to join an initiative which promoted people washed their hands with soap. Furthermore, she thought that saving the world “may be as easy as hawking chewing gum”. As a …show more content…
But it is hard to change what people are familiar to do in daily life. Because they do what they have done since childhood. However, we can change habits through figure out what the negatives are when we do bad habit also take serious steps in order to change this habit. Like what Dr. Curtis did to persuade people to use soap when they washed hands. She used direction and persuasion to change people’s habits. We can use these ways to make new habit that could save our lives. For example, someone was persuaded to quit smoking by his friend when he told him about the consequences of smoking. In addition,take new habit gradually can make change easily and show the positive results are motivated to change habits. For instance, my friend succeded to follow diet and do exercises after she used simple steps to change bad habit of eating unhealthy food and being overweight. Also, family can help you to get a new habit by providing advice and support. Sometimes, when we want to follow habits that may save our life we feel boredom or disappointment, so we should be patient

The sample comprised 240 senior secondary II chemistry students drawn from six schools in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State. The hypotheses investigated with respect to students’ study habit problems such as home work/ assignment, reading and note-taking, students’ concentration, time allocation, teachers’ consultation as human variables were analyzed using chi-square statistics at 0.05 level of significance.
