Hassan is kind-hearted because he doesn't want to hurt any human, plants or animals, Amir even said that Hasson never willing kill any animals or even plants, but he still has to due to parent's order.
Hassan is seen brave when he and Amir get bullied by Assef and his two friends, Wail and Kaman. Hasson held the slingshot pointed directly at Assef's face. Although they are safe now, it caused Assef's hatred. Another time I see that Hassan is brave is because he stood up against Taliban, Hassan was shot due to protecting his family. Obviously, these make clear-cut that Hasson is a justice person throughout his whole life.
Hasson's personality also seems very simple. Anybody who is familiar to him always believe in him. No matter what Hasson

...emotional consequences of a childhood decision that set him on a search for redemption. The author shows that classism determines the quality of one’s lifestyle but not the emotional state of mind one possesses. This is established through the social setting in the novel which enforces classist ideals that rigidly cast individuals into certain roles and determine the way they are treated. Next, the character of Amir’s childhood friend and servant, Hassan, undergoes a grim change as a result of a traumatic incident rather then a consequence of his social standing and material worth. Finally, Amir consistently battles with an internal conflict and guilt after betraying Hassan despite living a privileged and financially-comfortable life. The religious segregation of the Afghan people creates a classist social setting which shapes the lifestyle and expectations of those within it. One of the most evident cases of division based on social class in the novel is the difference in roles between Amir and his childhood friend Hassan. Due to the fact that they originate from different religious backgrounds, they are plunged into vastly opposite social classes ever since birth and despite forming a strong friendship, this division was a continuous reality that society would not let them dismiss: “Never mind any of those things. Because history isn’t easy to overcome....

Personality Essay

...Personality Essay BUS 322 Professor Hassan Yemer April 19, 2013 Big 5 Traits Personality is defined as a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by a person that uniquely influences his or her cognitions, motivations, and behaviors in various situations. (http://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/wiki100k/docs/Personality_psychology.html)  Many contemporary personality psychologists believe that there are five basic dimensions of personality, often referred to as the "Big 5" personality traits. These Big 5 traits of personality are: extraversion, neuroticism, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness. Each trait can contribute positively or negatively on an individual’s work performance. I will describe each personality trait and how it can contribute positively on an individual’s work performance. Extraversion is characterized by sociability, assertiveness, emotional expressiveness and excitability. People who are high in this trait are often described as being outgoing and talkative, while those low in this trait are described as quiet and reserved. (http://psychology.about.com/b/2011/06/17/extraversion-psychology-definition-of-the-week.htm) So, if people are high in this trait, it might help to win the confidence of customers for business deals. Obviously this has a positive effect on both the company and the individual and will most likely...

...The Path to Salvage War will change one more drastically than in others do in their entire lives. It has the ability to alter one’s mental state so radically it can be hard to conceive. In Stephen Galloway’s, The Cellist of Sarajevo and Sebastian Faulks’ Birdsong, the ongoing war around Arrow and Stephan force them to search for a renewed purpose in life and a new reason to carry on living. Ultimately, the characters attempt to achieve this goal but, due to the intervention of others, self-realization and the traumas they face the characters become more humane. One of the most prominent reasons the characters change throughout the story is because of the interventions of others. The characters come to realize that the people whom they resent are truly better people than they originally thought. In Birdsong, Stephen is relentless and cold towards a fellow soldier named Jack Firebrace, but when Stephen is in a tight spot and no one comes to help him, Firebrace is the one who saves his life. At one point, he even goes out of his way to find Stephen when he is in trouble, “‘You mean he’s dead?’ ‘They didn’t take him to the clearing section. He must have had it...’ ‘Jack recovering from his fright climbed over the wall and went closer…” (Faulks, 181). Firebrace was the last person that Stephen would expect to come save him. When he does, despite the fact that Stephen was deemed dead, Stephen finds it in him to create a new resolve to never be so cold to anyone ever again. The people...

...Why is Anbe Sivam regarded as the best movie in the history of Tamil cinema by many? Did this movie have any story at all? First of all is it a movie? No. Anbe Sivam is an experience, not only for one Madhavan but for another few thousands, who care to learn quite a lot of things and feel conceited about themselves, but fail miserably to confront the vagaries of life. What was the movie all about? An experienced matured man and a squeamish, egotist but tender hearted youth (a typical modern day youth) travelling together from Bhubaneshwar to Chennai(East coast of India).Fate hinders their journey in all possible ways which Madhavan initially considers exasperating but later reveres as an experience of a lifetime. The story is as simple as that but the associated scenes, dialogues and the lessons learnt reverberate through your mind for a long time. Be it the floods, train accident or the little boy's death it is Madhavan who breaks down and get shattered. But Kamalhassan adapts himself and reconciles himself to reality and helps in the best possible way he can. While it takes a lot of effort for Madhavan to tell Kamalhaasan about his fraternal love towards him, Kamalhaasan finds it easy to tell 'A.Ars, you are a go(o)d man' (it's not that easy to tell it to someone earnestly). From where did Kamal get this maturity? The story moves into the flashback of Kamal,a communist, who loves the daughter of a capitalist, Nasser, whom he opposes as a worker regarding wages. When the duo...

Hezbollah (حزب الله) a Look Into the History and Ideology of a Terrorist Group Turned Political Powerhouse

...HEZBOLLAH (حزب الله) A LOOK INTO THE HISTORY AND IDEOLOGY OF A TERRORIST GROUP TURNED POLITICAL POWERHOUSE BY DEAN M. KEMP TERRORISM (ADJ 202) DELAWARE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE BACKGROUND Hezbollah is also known as: Islamic Jihad, Islamic Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine, Organization of the Oppressed on Earth, Party of God, Revolutionary Justice Organization, and The Islamic Resistance. The name “Hezbollah” is Arabic, which translates to, “Party of God,” and whose name comes from a Koranic verse promising triumph to all those who join the Party of God. Shia clergymen founded Hezbollah in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley in 1982, with the goal of driving Israel from Lebanon, and establishing an Islamic state there. Hezbollah closely coordinated its efforts with Iran, and quickly became an effective fighting force thanks to the training, weapons, and funding of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, who was operating in Lebanon at the time. Soon thereafter, Hezbollah began running training camps for not only its members, but for other terrorist organizations on how to conduct assassinations, kidnapping, suicide bombings, and guerilla warfare. In addition to Lebanon, Hezbollah’s security apparatus operates in parts of North and South America, Europe, East Asia, and other parts of the Middle East. Hezbollah’s current goals include the establishment of a Shiite theocracy in Lebanon, the destruction of Israel, and the elimination of Western influences from the...

QUESTION What is the ruling of the Ulama of Deen regarding the Ayah‫ اياك نستعين‬A person interprets this Ayah saying that it is Shirk (Polytheism) to seek assistance from any one other than Allah Almighty. He quotes the Following : ‫دﯾﮐﮫ ﺣﺻﺮ ﻧﺳﺘﻌﯾں اے ﭘﺎک دﯾں‬ ‫اﺳﺘﻌﺎﻧت ﻏﯾﺮ ﺳﮯ ﻻﺋق ﻧﮩﯾں‬ ‫ذات ﺣق ﺑﯾﺷک ﻣﮯ ﻧﻌم اﻟﻣﺳﺘﻌﺎن‬ ‫ﺣﯾف ﻣﮯ ﮔﺮ ﻏﯾﺮ ﺣق ﮐﺎ ﮨو دھﯾﺎن‬ Look at the Hasr (restrictions) of the pure Deen, that it is not permissible to seek assistance from other than Allah Almighty. He also quotes the beliefs of the illustrious Sufiya as follows: Sheikh Maslihuddin Sadi Shirazi (Radi Allah unho) held the same belif. Hence, he states: ‫نداريم غير از تو فرياد رس‬ ‫توئی عاصياں را خطا بخش و بس‬ There is none beside you that can assist me and it is You Who forgives the sins of the servants. Beacons of Hope 4 Hazrat Moulana Nizami Ganjawi (Radi Allah unho) also says the same in his Du’a: ‫بزرگا بزرگی و ہابيکم‬ ‫توئی ياوری بخش وياوری رسم‬ O Master! Oh Bestower of Excellence! It is only You Who can help me and save me. He also quotes an interesting and thought-provoking incident...

It is the precious gift of Dr Manmohan Singh to the people of India at a time when the country was in the grip of unprecedented economic crisis and political turmoil. One of the areas in which this policy focused on was on increasing India’s export. Title

...At liftoff, Matt Eversmann said a Hail Mary. He was curled into a seat between two helicopter crew chiefs, the knees of his long legs up to his shoulders. Before him, jammed on both sides of the Black Hawk helicopter, was his "chalk," twelve young men in flak vests over tan desert camouflage fatigues. He knew their faces so well they were like brothers. The older guys on this crew, like Eversmann, a staff sergeant with five years in at age twenty-six, had lived and trained together for years. Some had come up together through basic training, jump school, and Ranger school. They had traveled the world, to Korea, Thailand, Central America... they knew each other better than most brothers did. They'd been drunk together, gotten into fights, slept on forest floors, jumped out of airplanes, climbed mountains, shot down foaming rivers with their hearts in their throats, baked and frozen and starved together, passed countless bored hours, teased one another endlessly about girlfriends or lack of same, driven in the middle of the night from Fort Benning to retrieve each other from some diner or strip club on Victory Drive after getting drunk and falling asleep or pissing off some barkeep. Through all those things, they had been training for a moment like this. It was the first time the lanky sergeant had been put in charge, and he was nervous about it. Pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death, Amen. It was midafternoon, October 3, 1993. Eversmann's Chalk Four...
