|The is a part of an ongoing NHS project to help break down discrimination within the health service and the winning booklet will be|
|used in staff training. |
|You need to make the booklet interesting, readable and good to look at, and it should help readers gain an insight into |

|across. You should consider the effects of the discriminatory practiced in detail, identifying those that are most important. |

|health and social care settings. You need to include a description of how anti discriminatory practice can be promoted in health |
|and social care. This will be given to all students before they go on placement. She requests that the booklet is suitable for at |
|least three different types of settings. You have investigated one national policy initiative and you are aware of the difficulties|
|that can arise when implementing anti discriminatory practice in health and social care settings. Your booklet will include |
|chapters on the following: |

|P4 How recent national initiatives have promoted anti discriminatory practice. Produce at least two initiatives and give detailed |
|reasons as to how and why they promote anti discriminatory practice. |

|P5 How anti discriminatory practice is promoted, identifying all the relevant features, in health and social care settings. |

|M2 The impact of one national policy initiative that promotes anti discriminatory practice. Consider in detail the different |
|aspects of the initiative, identifying which are the most important and relevant. |
