A social determent that may affect a public health issue, mentioned by Healthy People 2020 is Social Disorder, such as crime, violence or proper management of trash during a natural disaster. Healthy People 2020 said, poor health outcomes are often attributed to individual interaction with the social and physical environment. When an individuals need is not met, such as a proper place to live, or a public service like waste disposal or necessity of clean water, environmental diseases and social unrest occurs.

From our readings, to maintain and promote health, the community, schools, residential areas, all individuals who work, live and play in these areas and availability of resource and health services need to be met to be in good shape
