They focus on meeting the needs of all employees and ensure they work environment is safe for them at all times. In order to be able to understand fully what the purpose of the HR department is, we must first take a look at the tasks they perform. Recruiting is one of the tasks which Hr is responsible for. HR must prepare the job description, and then describe what type of person they are looking for in order to fill the position. Next they must advertise this position and determine whether or not this position is going to be internal or external. Once applications have been received for this position, Hr must them review all of them to determine who is most qualified for the position. Payroll is another task HR must take care of. HR must make sure each employee gets the correct wages based on the amount of time they put in. The pay rate is determined either by a flat rate, hourly rate, overtime rate, or price rate. All of these are important to both HR and the employee. Both parties need to keep up with the time put in so that their pay is correct for the pay period.
