As a person who appreciates videogames, fantasy, and dystopian societies, I appreciated how Cline incorporated the history of videogames into a dystopian society. In general, I tend to gravitate towards science fiction and fantasy novels due to their ability to draw the reader into the book. Contrarily, on some occasions I enjoy reading some news articles so that I can stay somewhat up to date with society. I tend to avoid persuasive writing because I prefer to avoid confrontation and choosing sides. Keeping with the idea of staying up to date in society, social media is the fastest and easiest way to do so.
