In the book of Matthew, there are many who have such faith in Jesus, they act and ask him for healing. Among these people are two blind men and a centurion. First, the blind men showed trust in Jesus’s power. They had heard of his story and miracles and believed he was the son of God. When they heard him coming they said, “Lord, son of David have mercy on us!”(Doc 1). They offered nothing to him, but simply cried out for his healing. And so, Jesus had compassion for them and he gave them their sight (Doc. 1). This action shows the men had tremendus faith in Jesus, because they knew they had nothing to give in exchange for healing.
